No, nothing Sean. Wasn’t even looked at by VAR I don’t think. Yeah so many like that being overlooked.
Pgmol have now come out and apologised and said Brighton should have had a pen against Spurs. Brighton really did get robbed there yesterday and it could well cost them top 4.

Agree with Danny Murphy. City have stepped up a level and large amount of credit of course should be thrown in Pep’s direction. He’s reinvented the wheel with a new system; top heavy at the top end of the pitch. The only downside is just leaving yourself slightly short at the back, but it’s firing on cylinders both home and away.
Maybe Kyle Walker is deemed as more of a conventional full-back, but if there was a young Fernandinho, and Vinny, and Delph, they would have enjoyed playing in this set up.

Having watched the highlights, two clear penalties for Brighton, the foul on Mitoma and the pull on Dunk. Also, not sure the Brighton goal disallowed for handball, touched the player’s hand.
Certainly not clear and obvious. Disgraceful really that Atwell and his var team, who backed him to the hilt, are able to influence a game with a lot riding on it.
His incompetence has been plain to see all season. Capped it off by sending the Spurs caretaker-manager off, who was the only one who steered clear of the melee.

Catching up with y’day’s highlights; harsh on Brighton and handball was picked up by officials which is fair enough if they really want to be strict. But a perfectly legit penalty on Brighton was not given and should have been given.
Stellini shouldn’t have been sent off, so unfortunately officials are getting big decisions wrong and just plain incompetence on discipline. The Referee refereeing the game should be taken to account. It is ruining the game and that’s putting it mildly.

Whilst our home form has obviously been stronger, it still couldn’t help us beat Madrid at home. Arsenal are just as good away as they are at home and have been a different animal this season. Not sure what will happen today. We need to keep a few goals clear at all times.

Mikus, that’s true. It’ll have to take something really good to bring out the 12th man. Why has both Jota and Curtis Jones been selected? And we’re still employing the same 4-3-3. This could head to another loss yet Klopp’s job will be safe.

Home form is not down to the crowd, it’s how the opposition approach the game. Nearly all teams ease off given us more time to play this slower pace football. Arsenal are not doing this and are the better team.
