Week 18?!?!?: Or not….

Reading posts so far suggests in favour of calling off or cooling off for a bit.

I’m in the opposite camp albeit a brief postponement of matches over the winter and see where we are in the first couple of weeks of January.

How do we manage all of this because we’re talking of course masses. If schools for example are struggling with 30+ children in a classroom, then we’re in need of something stringent.

How often do we take lateral flow tests and PCR tests when travelled abroad? I must say though (and something that has really split and moved colleagues in our company social message board) is the point of Winter being the time of the year in contracting ‘a’ virus or an infection and heightening within human population. I know the risk element and the prospect of hospitalization, but surely in large, these vaccines should be giving us what we need in essence of giving us a better fighting chance against infections and viruses.

We need to try and be moving forward. Maybe I’m wrong and maybe in the short-term we have to live with the ‘stop’ ‘start’ ‘stop’ ‘start’ way of life.

At the moment the guidance seems to be how many players in a team drop out with covid. 2/3 players seems ok, but 5/6 and a game can get postponed which seems very unfair, and depending on *who* exactly drops out, it can hit a team more seriously. If this spreads as fast as they say, you’d think the wave will be over more quickly.

I dunno Ed, Lampard isnt ready I’d say. He struggled with an amazing squad at Chelsea. Honestly, they should go for Rafa, as he’s about to get fired. He’ll keep them up and then let the man buy the players he wants in the summer.

Difficult to see Bielsa surviving much longer despite the injuries his tactics are just adding to Leeds problems.

Lampard would be a mistake as would Rafa imo one’s not ready and the other is yesterday’s man.
