Week 18?!?!?: Or not….

Going to play devil’s advocate here… but before I do so I’m going to say there should be a break if it’s only to reduce the risk of spreading COVID… but I’ve also been looking at the “squad” lists for all the larger clubs (haven’t gone through all 20, and yes, I’ve included my Spuds!)… and I really don’t get why clubs are suggesting they can’t put 11 on the field and a full sub’s bench… my Spuds, for example, have 37 players registered on the Premiership website…and that wasn’t even the “largest” squad…

Got to say, ALL managers are coming across a little bit whiny here… there is absolutely no reason why any Premiership club can’t put a matchday squad of 18 together. It might not be the 18 they want, for sure, but that’s the same for all clubs.

Ye banjo mate but the bigger clubs have bigger squads with better players so surely it’s unfair no?

If Burnley get 6 out with covid they are screwed. If city do they have like for like replacements big dog

And, rather amusingly considering all the grief I give them about having 9000 players, Chelsea’s is the smallest one I’ve come across so far with “ONLY” 29 players…

You’re not wrong Waspy, but my point is (and my club is included), managers are taking the piss a bit here… boy who cried wolf and all that… (and you lot have 41… 🙂 )

adlab there are plenty of offences not committed by the England captain that go unpunished. I get that Kane is public enemy number one and he probably did deserve a red card but it just isn’t the case that only the England captain doesn’t get punished. there were several this weekend. without me even watching the highlights of any games I can name xhaka, ederson and kante. pretty sure none of them are England captain yet still got away with things they should have been punished for. I don’t think it’s favoritism, it’s incompetence.
