You’re a better man than me Sean. I guess I have no problem with what we did, cause we were brilliant, in most ways. We were as good as you’d expet with that midfield, that’s for sure. It was a brilliant game and would have been better for above discussion.. no need rehashing it.
World class performances from Trent, Robertson, Alisson.

The Spurs v Liverpool game reminds me of the one from 2 years ago when Mourinho famously stated they were the better team at the end of the game despite not having much possession. They had the better chances just didn’t take them, seems this was the same

Why is everyone ignoring the fact that these better chances came from a player who should not have been on the pitch?
Spurs definitely DID have the better chances but if Kane hadn’t come within a whisker of ending Robertson’s season, that would be a valid point of discussion. It however isn’t and I have yet to see a single person say that Kane shouldn’t have been sent off, so why am I seeing so many talking about all the chances that he had?
What is so hard about understanding that Kane not being there = Kane not getting or creating those chances?
We also should have had a penalty. the same, not one person has said it wasn’t a penalty (unless chucky did but lol). Salah has scored every one of his last 15 penalties, so you can guess how it likely would have gone.
Tell me that it wasn’t a penalty. Tell me that it wasn’t a red card. Now tell me that Spurs should have won it, muppets.

What is so hard to understand that HE WASN’T sent off, so what does it matter. We’re analysing the game based on how it played out, not how it could have played out or should have played out. Bottom line is, Spurs had the best chances.

What’s with all the petty stuff on here recently? Seems everyone is falling out. A lack of football maybe? Pandemic-fatigue?
Either way, I’d just kindly ask people to think one extra time before posting if it’s potentially going to rub someone up the wrong way.
Remember, this is something I do purely for fun and because I enjoy it. It costs money. It doesn’t make money. So I’m not able to be around constantly keeping an eye on things to make sure they don’t get out of hand.

Re those 2 incidents my take is Kane slid in with no intent to harm the player, firstly his not that type of player but unfortunately when you slide into a tackle you invariably can’t help your studs showing up, so everytime a player slides tackle and does not manage to get the ball, he sould be sent off? Then they must rather ban that type of tackle if that’s the case. On the other hand Robertson had clear intent to cause a bit of damage, you could see it on his body language and even had a nasty look on his face when he kicked out so widely, so based on those actions that’s the way the officials saw it. Im totally neutral as I’m more worried about Spurs catching Chelsea than we keeping up with City or Liverpool so I wanted a draw or a win for Liverpool yesterday.

Ed, I have to ask why it takes me to finally say something that you come in with something to say yourself. How about the entire 2 weeks before with the chelsea lads going off constantly?
I keep coming back here because I have it in my mind that it’s not toxic like TT but it really is, it’s just more subtle.
Not one non-liverpool fan here has agreed to the 2 bloody obvious decisions that went against them because this is an anti-Liverpool site.

Rover, Kane was out of control. It’s an absolutely red card all day long. It’s a clear pen aswell. The thing is refs are letting these tackles go. Cress well on Henderson a few weeks ago and xhaka in the Leeds game
It doesn’t really matter as the game is over. It was a brilliant game. We were badly exposed at times from losing the ball. We play so high that it just takes one pass to cut us open. We are a very brave team the way we play and I love that about us. I just love watching us play. What an experience for young Morton. What an atmosphere
I’m happy with a draw as they had loads of chances. Thought our full backs were a different level. Brilliant games and probs the last one we will see for a while. We had 4 first team starters out so I’ll take that point
Think that’s the first sending off we had since mane 2017?? It’s a red card and foolish from robbo but what a player he has become
