Harry, I truly get that mate and as I’ve said on this thread I can fully understand it.

But it’s not right to be attacking the fans of other Clubs who don’t have the emotional ties to the Club as Liverpool fans do for suggesting it’s Liverpool’s title to lose now with very few of them if any thinking that they will.

Anyway mate best of luck it’s been a long time and you have a great team and will fully deserve it once it’s all finalised. Cheers 9’s

Chucky – I get that, but at the same token how many people go on about the last time any of them won it? Liverpool fans are bantered constantly about the PL title, and will be until we win one. We know that, you know that, everyone knows that.

Harry hit the nail on the head when he said that we’d be saying the same thing if the situation was reversed. We are hyper-sensitive about the Prem, having lost out from winning positions more than once in the last few years. We’ve had to listen to United fans crowing (not on here, I hasten to add) about overtaking our 18 titles, and just being a ‘history’ club etc, and we are truly desperate for us not to throw it away again. For the record, I don’t think we will (there I’ve said it!), but it might just happen, and if it does I would hope for (probably forlornly) for a little respect and sympathy on here, but we’ll see!

Anyway, shame Mak has gone, but as 999 says, it is only a forum, it’s only words, and it has no effect whatsoever on whether Liverpool actually win the league or not, and so there is no reason for being abusive to anyone or anyone’s club in my opinion. I hope he comes back, because I enjoy his posts, particularly his rambling ones, but he does need to apologise to whoever he told to fuck off! From his recent posts I’m guessing he’s having a tough time at the moment so maybe a little slack could be cut. Anyway, nothing to do with me!

Harry, if I had 5 Euros for every time Puppy has reminded me it’s been sixty odds years since the Spuds won it, I’d have enough to pay Ozil’s salary for a week… 🙂

Sweddy Eddy… got to say, didn’t think the General Election thread was in need of shutting down to be honest, compared to many threads we’ve seen it was relatively harmless and a lot of decent points were made by a lot of decent posters.

9 – I agree, and I have no time for personal insults. Cheers for the well wishes. Chelsea IMO are having a great season, if you get top 4 and grab a trophy Lamps will have to be a contender for Manager of the year.

Harry, it’s a shame mate as Hightown says maybe Mak is having a tough time currently hope he comes back he’s a top poster on form.

Back to the Footie even without their problems I’m not sure City would have been able to catch Liverpool this season the title when it comes will be fully deserved imo particularly as Liverpool went so close last season. Cheers 9’s

Last thing I’ll Say as I think there is a bit to much discussion about Liverpool at the minute on here.

We are in a great position. The best we have been for decades on and off the pitch. I’m very relaxed and I’m enjoying. Loving all the games. Hopefully we can keep going

Sean, personally I don’t think there’s too much discussion about Liverpool, I think it’s just the only ones that don’t think you’re nailed on to win it are the ones that should be. You’ve got a really good team going on there, so start enjoying positivity.

I’m off to watch Millwall on Saturday at Derby, I started going to watch them as I am a bit anti PL due to the money, so went with some friends, that was when they were in div 1. Now they could start pushing for a play off place, I’m hoping they’re not too successful….Pagan

Yeah totally understand Chucky. I just felt one lost poster was probably enough for today. If there’s a general consensus that it can be left open and everyone will play nice, I’m happy to re-open it. As always with that kind of thread, I don’t really have the time to monitor it closely (which that kind of thread needs more than most) so I tend to err on the side of caution. Rightly or wrongly…
