I really don’t know. The way from a media point of view the way outside the Labour party Andy has been received doesn’t speak volumes.
Realistically, I do question whether there is too much of an expectation so soon.
This elect is from a set of unconventional circumstances as Burnham was serving as a Mayor occupying a certain geographical area. He then won a Bi-election which can be used as a Stepping Stone to push forward into the front line.
I just think all the main issues will remain the same and will not be of any significant change and our country will reach boiling point in forcing a General Election.

Why because we are used to hunting whales, you hopefully understand that being a deckhand on a boat like that pays around 15k euros a month, the bigger the responsibility the higher the wage and honestly there is nothing wrong with hunting those whales.
The only bad whaling that ever happened was under the british crown where you hunted whale for oil instead of meat.
Then Paul Watson is a known terrorist and his first mate is also a known bomber, they use bombs to make you understand their point of view against people making a living.
The whole crew got busted for risking the lives of other people out fishing, they tried to throw a net into the screw of Hvalur 8 or 9. Which is actually one of the most beautiful boats you can ever get aboard on, everything made from mahogany. The mess hall is to die for, all the cabins are nice and the boat is a steamer. Imagine that.
I´ve never gone whaling in Iceland for the big whales but I have participated in the Faroe Islands after pilot whale and that is a spectacle. It´s beautiful how the whole community comes together and slaughters those animals. The whole thing is over in 15-20 minutes. There is a method, you take a pretty large knife and drive it down through their spinal cord, then you yank it down and bleed them out in a minute.
Its the same stupid cows that wash up on the shore in New Zealand every year, they should eat them actually.

mufc, I was around 6 years old when Paul Watson bombed a boat in Iceland, then somehow people thought he was a smart guy. Dudes, the dudes is a known terrorists that gets sponsored by social media. So is his crew at least the bosses on that boat, the rest are idiots that volunteered for some misguided reason.
We are not hunting every species, we are only hunting one particular whale that tastes really good, you don´t even cook that meat. You just marinade it and lay on some lime or something and eat it like sushi, its so good.
Then think about this, the coolest job in the whole wide world was mounting that dynamite harpoon gun on those boats, you stand at that harpoon gun at the front of the boat waiting for the whale to surface and harpoon it with a dynamite charge to knock it out.
Most of the forum here prides themselves of a army that does similar things to humans, I think my childhood was fine compared to Britain.
I doubt anyone here would turn down a boat on one of those whalers, the chef is pretty good, there are 4 meals a day, there is breakfast, there is lunch and dinner and then something for the midnight shift. You earn a shitload of money for being one with nature, it´s one of the purest professions out there and almost a lost skill by now.
Nobody knows how to shoot that harpoon gun anymore, so the whales suffer for a bit longer, the USA hunts more whales than Iceland every year. I think about 1000-2000 at least, we are doing 30-50 a year.

Iceland only hunts one whale species – ✅ Mostly true. Commercial whaling has been focused on fin whales.
Whale meat is eaten raw/marinated – ✅ True. Some people eat it this way, but whether it tastes good is subjective. (Personally I hate all fish so I’d find it disguting)
Nobody can use the harpoon properly anymore, so whales suffer longer – ⚠️ Unsupported. There is no strong evidence for this claim.
The USA hunts 1,000–2,000 whales a year – ❌ False. The US has no commercial whaling. Indigenous subsistence hunts take only a few dozen whales annually.
