We have to take positives from this, 18 months ago we had one of the worst defences in the league, currently only one team has conceded less goals, Tommy Tickle has had 7 league games and only shipped 3 goals I think, so we can see where he’s building from…..Pagan

Pagan, would not argue with that and have been arguing for this approach on other site, happy with tuchel so far he doing exactly what we needed him to do

I felt there were few good chances for either side and Chelsea looked the better team, but despite that I always felt utd would score on counter and were more likely to get the goal, despite possession and amount of nearly chances we had, utd for me looked more capable of getting the winner my immediate perception is based on how relieved I was to get the point rather than gutted we dropped 2.

Too soon in my eyes to have hope to secure TOP 4. Everton have 2 games in hand over us. I wouldn’t be too disappointed if we didn’t make the top 4. It’s one match at the time and I’m more bothered about not losing and actually see if we can see off this final part as unbeaten.

Lucky, agree with you re Tuchel we’re dominating games as all the stats show and are much sounder defensively too as well as currently being unbeaten under Tuchel.

We just need to start putting our chances away Ziyech really should have scored as well as Giroud in the first half yesterday if we start converting the chances that changes games.

Once we get Mbappe and Haaland in we’re sorted! 😊

The top 4 City aside is going to be tight now right until the end of the season imo. It’s impossible to predict, every Club right down to Villa in 9th place are in the mix.

Good weekend for us
When I saw the line up I thought we would lose and lose bad, pleasant surprise! Leicester were off tho in fairness and we still make such awful costly mistakes

Are we beginning to see the real Bale force? Could make the run in even more interesting

Fortunately missed the Chelsea game
Seems to me all new managers focus on defensive things it’s logical

Arteta did the same takes time to trust and sort teams and ideas and for all to understand each other sometimes it’s a quick process sometimes not but if you don’t concede you don’t lose ask city!!

Stevo, was laughing my ass off for tielemans goal but arsenal really took charge of that game and looked good doing it, bossed Leicester for entire second half and odegaard looks like he is exactly the type of player you have been missing since ozil was ousted from the side

Not sure how the Bookmakers are lining up these odds but I honestly don’t think at this moment in time that Liverpool look good for Top 4.

Even if we were to beat Fulham this afternoon.

The 2 underneath Man City need to drop points to give rest of us some hope. Everton and West Ham competing and rightly so. There are more teams and realistically only 3 places.

I certainly don’t want us in the Europa league, so it may not be bad after all if we finish outside the top 6.

Nil, given who is left in the FA Cup Nil anyone finishing 7th will qualify for the Europa League “If the FA Cup winners finish in the top six, then seventh place in the Premier League would qualify for the Europa League”

Nil, the early rounds of the Europa are hard going potentially playing teams that nobody has heard of but by the time the competition gets to the last 16/last 8 it’s a much more interesting competition with decent opponents and well worth winning imo especially as winning it provides a guaranteed CL place and a European Super Cup place. I’ll take it if we don’t make the top 4.😊
