If i was R.Madrid, i would stay clear of Hazard. He is far too inconsistent to be considered for a place on the R. Madrid bench. Because CR7 is the top dog. Bale, Isco and Asensio are also there. If Isco cannot make it. Then Hazard on current form is not good enough.

CHM-CR7 is headed for 34,Bale,Benzema,and Modric too are either too old or too injury prone.Apart from Asension,I cannot see any other Real player not being made available for transfer this summer.Would be shocked if Real went for Salah after one great season,Hazard has been doing it for nearly 7 now!

Mac, I’m sure Real are watching Salah but like you I think they would want to see more than a season from him to justify paying a fee of circa £200m.

Nine

In my opinion Hazard hasn’t taken a step up since the 2014/15 season. Yes last year he was so good but wasn’t that special. I would hate to say this, but we as a team we suffered just to accommodate him. Our whole attack was set up to serve him. Yet he isn’t producing year in year out. I had been in denial since 2015/16 season. But i can now admit that he is inconsistent to be a world class. And Real can have him.

On the other hand Salah is scoring for fun. And he hasn’t had the previllege like Hazard had in playing in this league for 6 seasons.

C/Man,

what struck me with Salah in particular is how clinical he is.

I think as far as recent times go, only Suarez comes near to strike rate conversion, and not only that, settling in really quickly and hitting the ground running.

I think you could add Fernando Torres to that too, but previous players we’ve had over a 10-15 period, some struggled like Baros, Cisse, Kuyt, and even as far back as Heskey.

Only the FA can deny this guy the golden boot, only if they award Kane those fake goals. i can only see clean sweep for him in the PFA and FWA. and you can’t rule out the UEFA player award.
