On the flipside some ITKs reporting Barcola deal done for 110m.

10th August 2026 at 10:14 am #252705Btw Ndukwe could be available in January if he gets sufficient senior competitive international minutes (with higher-ranked nations are given priority) or via a range of other criteria.
Thus loan him out to a top league, to a club where he can start regularly, and recall him in January if required.
Hopefully we won’t have any defensive issues by then, so that he can have a full season at a top club under his belt, which will hopefully elevate him up to a higher level.

10th August 2026 at 10:17 am #252706Rob, I haven’t seen the real “ITKs” report anything about the Bracola deal being done.

10th August 2026 at 10:20 am #252707“its just the same insider formation everyone else claims they have, you can pay for a subscription for this from multiple resources that claim to work in the banking industry for example. That saw a unusual transfer made or something regarding a rumor like the Slot sacking.
Nobody actually has any info, itΒ΄s just probability”
Correct, Notorious, nobody has inside info to our transfers, even Moonster with his attention-seeking claims.

10th August 2026 at 11:07 am #252711Looks like there is another bid going in for LFC today…this will go on for a week or so, but it’ll get done. It’s looking like a rolling takeover deal.

10th August 2026 at 11:35 am #252713Is it not a minority stake from bezos moonster?
Is it a good thing?

I believe, currently yes it is, but with a line to succeed FSG in the future. There was rumours of a strategic control with 30% steak in the club…I dont see how you would become a strategic controller without there being succession plan in place.
But, wait and see.

10th August 2026 at 12:39 pm #252715I guess the Bezos investment may be a good thing, it depends what FSG do with the money.
If its used to invest in other franchises then it won’t make much difference.
But having a ready made full buyout partner with very deep pockets has got to be positive news. It doesn’t guarantee they would run the club well but at least it wouldn’t mean a return to the Moores and Gillet/Hicks days when they had to turn out their pockets and beg off the banks to even try to keep up financially.

10th August 2026 at 1:41 pm #252717I donΒ΄t think anything would change really, except we would probably see some big commercial deals from Amazon next season. The standard chartered deal is running out, it could be primevideo, amazon music, the retail side or what ever.

10th August 2026 at 2:02 pm #252719The Expedia deal is also running out next season, what could be a jackpot for us is how many commercial deals Amazon can actually provide, there are 5-6 sponsorship deals they could provide basically on the spot, then the commercial department of Amazon could seriously help us expand.
IΒ΄m not talking about some crazy numbers but just to start with if this goes through replacing standard chartered and expedia with sponsorship deals for Amazon could provide us immediately with 30-45 million extra per season, then we have a number of smaller deals to make as well.
Since this is popping up again IΒ΄m gonna believe itΒ΄s gonna go through. I doubt the talk would be making itΒ΄s way into headlines unless someone is serious about buying up the club.

10th August 2026 at 2:48 pm #252727I thought Jeff Bezos had stepped down as CEO of Amazon?
Quit when he was in his Prime.
I’ll get my coat.

10th August 2026 at 3:01 pm #252729what happens if primevideo get the rights for the premier league? Cause that contract will be up in 2029, there is a very strong possibility that one of the streaming sites will move for the rights, primevideo has already bought a package from the Premier League before.

10th August 2026 at 3:39 pm #252733It’s strategic for sure Bingo, secure a PL vanity investment to get his foot in the door then go from there, streaming rights etc. as you mentioned.
I will guarantee Bezos will eventually want the biggest slice of the pie imaginable.
If he achieves just one thing, one thing, then Barcola on next day delivery please before he ends up in an Arsenal shirt.

10th August 2026 at 4:14 pm #252735I think it might be strategic, Primevideo is very likely to get another package to stream, I prefer them over Netflix actually.
They could not pick our matches but if they had a 30% in our club who do you think would feature on their ads most prominently?
FSG have opposed some TV-contracts in the past, tried to dabble their toes into streaming, IΒ΄m pretty sure that the current SKY format will be history in 2029.
The clubs have so much to gain from streaming services, we even have a few die hards here that would watch a re-run of a game if easily available.
There is so much potential extra revenue through this group, I donΒ΄t even know where to start but this has to be a part of bigger plan.
They are not buying 30% at market value just to sit there or I would doubt it. Then there is the potential commercial revenue, amazon just have to change their algorithm slightly and all of a sudden the Liverpool shirt is the first one you see when browsing

10th August 2026 at 6:36 pm #252740I was thinking about the Tv side of this. We had a very small handful of games broadcasted on Amazon in recent years here in the UK as the monopoly of course is SKY SPORTS and TNT.
Our games you would think would/should be at a Discounted Price π

10th August 2026 at 6:38 pm #252741Bingo, for years, we’ve been fleeced over here in England. Ireland for example a lot better deal. Dodgy streams is another talking point they’ve clamped down on.
