The season before 8 games from the right, 44 games from the left.
Season before that 8 games from the right, 27 games from the left.These are appearances, not starts.
He’s a left sided attacker who can do bits on the right.
We need a right sided attacker.

He won’t and he shouldn’t. That age you need to be careful. Look what happened to Owen.
And as I said, he has a lot of his game to work on. A few fancy step overs might look good and make the crowd go ooh but he needs to track back and help out defensively. Currently he’s just not got the physicality for that.

I´ll put a pint under it mate, the thing is it´s easier to manager his gametime if he starts, he does not need to do full 90 minutes every week. He can do about 60 minutes of gameplay and influence a game, he should never start two games in a week though but he should be given a chance every time we can.
Denying him game time is like denying Fowler his start for the club. Where that sweet spot will be in the league I don´t know but in total he will get about 2200 minutes I reckon and the majority of that will be starts.
He has already shown he can do this in the last 20-30 minutes of a game, he has already shown that he can keep going for 60 minutes. The next step is to get more starts and I am 1000% sure he will do that. The kid is a beast, he already got his England debut. He will have gotten directions from Tuchel how to develop, he started this summer early.
He will start a lot of games, not every game but I reckon it will be close to 1 game a week on average over the season.
I´ll take a Guinness pint after the season.

3ps look at what is happening with Yamal, the kid keeps developing, look at all those youngster at Barcelona right now.
The physiotherapy and all that has comes leaps and bounds since Owen and Owen mainly relied on that pace of his, it´s a different kid. Fowler also had his fare share of injuries but that was mainly down to the culture of the club.
We got the finest academy in the world right now, the best training facilities, one of the best cultures ever developed in club football.
We can´t hold this kid back, he is also greedy to prove himself and get big contracts and all that, we got to give him the path we promised him. He is already a England national and very likely to become one of the finest players we have seen for England.
I get what you mean about managing him but there is no holding back this kid anymore, he is gonna explode on the scene this season. You just have to face it.

ginger we are not disagreeing by that much but consider this because you want a right forward, if we do not sign one who would be the likeliest player to start there?
I can´t see Gakpo moving there, I can see Munoz taking up any game time available to him over there, I can see Rio doing the same. I don´t wanna see Szobo once there this season. Barcola could feature there but he is probably gonna play on the left.
Right now if we add Barcola to the mix and he would start the majority of matches on the left for certain, Wirtz probably in the hole and then we only got our pick of Munoz and Rio, Munoz is also new to the league so I expect it to be a almost 50/50 battle between them right now.
I do not think you are getting your wish for another forward beside Barcola. I know you want one but I don´t think he is coming this season. So there is only those options available and some of them have to start.

Dirty, I don´t think it´s only gonna be our fans that want Rio to start this season, I think the whole country wants to see what he can do, I think half of Europe wants to see what he can do. The pressure is gonna be immense on the lad, someone here talked about him going back and fulfilling his defensive duties but honestly we should be playing full throttle so the kid never has to track back.
I think Nyoni is just as good actually, he just needs to play a more disciplined position so he has gotten less game time, we need to keep a path open for that kid in midfield as well. He should get a couple of starts in the league, get all the minutes he can get in the cups. I really wanna see more from him, I´ve not seen a more disciplined kid playing holding midfielder than him at his age.
He is also a potential superstar in the making, he got his debut at 16 under Klopp, he also forced his way into Slot´s team, I know he will do good for Iraola.
The only other player I could compare him to is a former captain of ours at our club, otherwise I would opt for a former Arsenal captain. In our last game of the season, in those few minutes Nyoni got I saw something very special, he went for the ball every time. He shielded the ball every time, he stood under pressure and found the pass as well. He wanted to make his mark on that game and he did. Roy Keane commented about him, he was probably commentating on our game against Sunderland.
it´s just a short clip of his touches, not his work off the ball which is also exceptional, look at those backheel passes. This kid is also very special I am sure he will be a England national in the future.

No I am saying that he will average a game a week, depening on the schedule, I´ve even given you the minutes I think he will get 2200 minutes, cause he will both feature in the Champions League and the Premier and possible the cups as well. There is plenty games to go around for a whole season, we could play between 65-70 games this season.

Harry if we get Barcola I am genuinely excited about what our attack can do and about Rio, we are not talking about some random hyped up kid we have never seen, we know what he is capable of. I get the concern that we need to protect him but there is no holding this kid back this season, he is gonna explode onto the scene. I´m being rather pragmatic with my expectations on him because he could just play so good we are forced to play him every goddamn game!
