Your good Big J, it’s a bit weird but once you get a few weeks in you’ll be up there, something about losing points for unscored predictions, so with only 20 so far, your ranking is all over the place! Wait till Monday….

Yeah you don’t actually lose any points. It’s just that the average is calculated live, so if you’ve made another week of predictions which are yet to be scored, the average will take into account those predictions even though those matches haven’t happened yet, if that makes sense.

For example, if you’ve predicted 20 scores and 10 of those matches haven’t yet taken place, your average will be total points divided by 20,even though only 10 matches have taken place!

So, as Banjo says, on a Monday the avg points column is accurate. It’s also reliant on me having filled in the actual scores. I haven’t updated the game from last night yet.
