Phew,that was extremely boring and extremely lucky! Apart from the goalie,the rest were abysmal.Cunha and Mbeumo absolutely crap,wasted money.With this lot we will be thrashed in the CL every week!

Palace was schooled by the referee giving red card and penalty. That changed the game completely. Taking the 3 points though gladly, we needed it.

If we hadn’t got that fortuitous penalty and them down to ten men, we’d have lost that happy, and you know it. We even tried to give it away at the end. And Carrick’s substitutions were baffling. Took Sesko off too early when we clearly needed another goal, then didn’t bring another midfielder on when we were getting overrun. We were fucking poor again and Carrick just doesn’t seem to have the ability to change things up.

Yeah Mbeumo was poor today. He’s a counter attack player though isn’t he? Amad is better at beating his man so against teams like that it’s probably better to have Amad on than Mbeumo. Casemiro was very good again and Bruno was everywhere. Felt very inexperienced towards the end without Maguire, Shaw and Martinez at the back. Could have easily been exposed. But they’ve got the job done again even if the pen and Red were dodgy.
Seems we actually have a striker on our hands with Sesko.
