Delighted we won but we can be so tough to watch. So sluggish , no winning duals and just soft
We can be absolutely dreadful to watch and 1st half was like so much shite we have had to watch numerous timrs

Forest are a good team, mismanaged but a good team, I would take a few players from them actually right now, Neco has been one of their players of the season so far and we could do with a right back. Murillo is also a unit at the back, very underrated and he always has a good game against us. Elliott bossed the midfield today, he was relentless for them tonight. I would also have him.

Wirtz has also become the focal point of almost every attack we have, without his first touch and turn nobody could break away from the Forest midfield.
Slot even recognized his mistake and swapped Jones and Szobo around but to little effect.
I thought we actually become a little bit more composed both in midfield and defense.
Gakpo was as useful as a light post, he just stood there waiting for the ball for the whole time he was on the field.
He maybe had 5 touches on the ball the lead to anything, out of 10 touches.
I dont think the criticism aimed at Salah or Ekitike is just, they both got involved with our buildup, both dropped deep and tried to make something happen.
Meanwhile Gakpo stood there waiting for the ball until he got substituted.
He is like a lesser version of Ryan Babel at times. Totally ineffective and only slows down our play every time the ball gets passed to him.
He need about a minute to receive the ball and make something happen and yeah of given time he will cut inside on the inside and shoot or do a cross but it always too late.
The last time a player infuriated me as much as him was when John Scales was playing for us.

Murillo is more explosive than Matip, Joel was so composed. Murillo just walks over any attacker when in form. He is not that tall but he is a unit, probably heavier than Van Dijk who got around 10cm on him. He is like a midfield destroyer from the back, never loses a dual even when he does not get the header. He will manage to offbalance the attacker.

Murillo has had his injury issues.
According to some on here he’s now “injury prone”
I do not expect Rio to be starting many games soon. The manager has his players he trusts and will crow bar them into the starting XI somehow.

He should he starting games, if he can play 2 u21 matches in a week and then put up a better performance than our forwards in 20-30 minutes he should be starting.
He does not need to play any more u21 games at this stage of his career. He is proven is the premier league at this stage.
There has only been 2 games where he has not had a impact while playing this season.
He creates more than Gakpo, he provides more of a threat, works more for the team. He should be starting and Gakpo should be coming on to replace him, not the other way around.
