Best to you, always.

31st January 2026 at 8:02 am #238103Bingo, gakpo on the right is even worse thst gakpo on the left.
We need him replaced. I would give eitike a go on the left though
We need two versatile wide players who can play either side
Mo be gone in the summer unless he starts banging them in now

31st January 2026 at 9:13 am #238104“Wasnβt Hughes a βgeniusβ six months ago?”
Yes he was, he brought Slot to the club, and he won us the league on his first attempt, against all the odds, and totally unexpectedly.
But he fucked up when he signed Isak, BIG mistake. Especially signed he’d already signed an even better striker Ekitike, for Β£79m.

31st January 2026 at 9:21 am #238105“How do you back up that statement highly injury prone songman? “
As I always back it up, with FACTS. Prior to joining Liverpool, Isak had missed 39 games injured in three seasons at Newcastle, or 13 games on average per season.
This season, prior to his major injury, he’d already missed 10 games injured for Liverpool.
Add to this, his utterly ridiculous price of Β£125m, when it should have been Β£80m max (or no deal), hence why I said we should NOT sign him, long before he even joined us.

31st January 2026 at 10:25 am #238109Rob, no bother, it was just in the heat of the moment; apologies for my outburst. It’s probably how I’m wording what I’m trying to express.

31st January 2026 at 10:30 am #238110It’s pretty painful the way things have turned out with Isak. I was as excited as a few if not more on here. Imagine how he must feel. Absolute no fault of his own, but this just proves we shouldn’t be touching in the first place somebody with such history let alone break British Transfer Record Fees.
The Net Spend figure spoke volumes. Some work for the future now will involve training up kids from the youth squad etc and unleashing them. Only if a new man in charge gives our spenders confidence to turn this around.

31st January 2026 at 2:14 pm #238115Songman, he was not listed as injured, he was out for fitness reasons. No injury on his record before he broke his leg.
He had a big injury in 2022. He has only had two big injuries during his whole career.
A injury prone player does not play over 40 games in consecutive seasons.
He has played over 40 games in 5 seasons, basically every season except one after he became a starter.

Good bet that Ginger with what looks like a 433 with Barnes, Gordon and Elanga up top. I have no doubt, zero doubt, that Newcastle will score.
