Arsenal beating West Ham? Holy hell.
They will actually go above them with a win, that’s incredible. West Ham are a fine team. They seem to be wavey in form but that is kinda what happens as you step up from being mid-table.
I would say that i fully expect West Ham to push Utd for that last CL place but you never know now do you.

Nah mak, I thought they might a few weeks back but west ham not getting 4th imo, come 38 played I wouldn’t be surprised to see utd, spuds and arsenal above them.
Taylor took an eternity to blow for that penalty, coufal did make contact with ball first so I can see why he was gutted, doubly so after getting second yellow and sent off for it!

Maybe LD. I dropped west ham from my FPL team many weeks ago but I still think they have something about them. I guess their performances against us and you is a major influence, as they genuinely gave us both problems when so few do.

The battle for 4th is shaping up to be a really good one. I wouldn’t like to have any money riding on which of Arsenal, Utd, West Ham or Spurs will get it. Leicester the only other side who could challenge for it but, well, Rodgers 😄

No surprise to see Arsenal turn up at home in a London derby at home. Were is the drive and work rate like last night when they went to anfield, old tarford, city etc?? Typical Arsenal.
No point turning up every few games. West Ham don’t have the squad to push for 4th. I fancy spurs or utd. Leicester are far to inconsistent

Luckily both games are past my bedtime and both look a bit like a “turkey shoot” if I’m honest, not a huge amount of interest in either for me… although this is one of those rare occassions I actually want a LiVARberoOol win on the simple basis I want to see the Bone Saw Boyz relegated… (so really, it’s a wish for a Bone Saw Boys loss more than anything…I think the footballing Gods will let me off just this once!)

Does make an interesting table, a few extra games in hand, a couple of top-draw players in Jan (yes, Puppyov, it’s hard to sign players in January, woof, woof, lick my balls… 🙂 ) and our fate in our hands… certainly for me, the race for 4th is a lot more interesting than the Top 3!

Banjo it’s certainly harder in January but nine was referring to it being especially hard for a club like Newcastle facing possible relegation, for a club challenging for champs league places and with conte in charge it won’t be quite so challenging imo.
