A very fine player Mikus but driving into the sunset!!!!!!The game to day is about young players more and more but I would lament not seeing KDB, Fernandinho, Gungdogan etc as much as Salah, fermino. etc and can understand more why David Silva left earlier than I would have liked.

Real Madrid still leaking goals and a bit surprised they were through above all. Taking away goals out is been a godsend in my eyes I have to say. The whole dynamics has changed.
I only wish it was like this previously. Very unlucky for Chelsea to not get over the line last night. There is solid experience and spirit about Madrid so you can never write them off and they hold a point lead in La Liga.
I’m confident quietly the final will be either Liverpool Man City or Liverpool Read Madrid.

Liverpool haven’t played well for a full 90 mins in a game for a long time. Can get away with it vs lesser opposition, but 5 goals conceded in the last 2 games should be a warning these performances can’t continue.
Nunez looks a very good player/finisher. Suspect he won’t be at Benfica for that much longer.

Credit to Atleti, they gave it a real go in the 2nd half and put us under more pressure than any other team this season. However, really proud of my team, defended superbly in a hostile atmosphere and without Dias and losing KdB and Walker to injury.
