Thats it threeps, throw in lack of effort on top of poor coaching. We were ised to a team with monster mentality now we are as soft as deck
Vvd has conceded 4 pens this season. More then in his previous 320 games. Vvd is still an excellent player. Hes done ok this season. The back 4 have absolutely no protection
I actually think szobo is letting the praise go to hos head.
Asian the fans are tired of watching shit football for over a year chum. No fight and getting paid millions. Money spent and we look absolutely awful

6th April 2026 at 11:13 am #243137Asian, you are of course entitled to your opinion. It’s actually been refreshing from many quarters of the fanbase sharing their exasperation. They’ve had enough.
I prefer that personally than for fans to get on their High Horse and get all Sanctimonious. We’re definitely not a Chelsea or a Type of Club that releases Managers in haste.
Something clearly isn’t binding together and the demeanour is translating on the pitch from the players, or at least in what appears to be. This is a club of High Expectations and we certainly can’t keep living off the Triumph of last season although a lot of Supporters already spotted the cracks appearing even after winning the Championship.
Definitely for me this Summer a Change in our Hierarchy.

But thats been my point for a long time… let the season finish and then reflect on whats happened. The club internally knows whats caused the issues… if slot doesnt meet the goals and requirements set by FSG and hes let go i wouldnt begrudge them for it!
My ire at the fanbase isnt just recently… its been like that for sometime! They just cant create an atmosphere and support the club through thick and thin… its what we’re renowned for??? Best supporters in the world? Anfield atmosphere??
Also take into consideration that we have the small matter of psg on Wednesday, there was a good chance players were rested or once the game was gone, saving themself for Wednesday! The season might have fully unfolded in the next 2 weeks… i can then understand that but atm the club, team and players need the support.

6th April 2026 at 12:18 pm #243140For me Slot is 100% NOT the main reason for Liverpool’s collapse this season.
I, for one, don’t buy into media hype or jump onto empty bandwagons, like last summer when everyone was gushing over Isak, when I explicitly stated, that Ekitike was bettter than him, and that we should not sign Isak for ÂŁ125m.
While Slot has made mistakes, and some tactical blunders, just like any top manager like Pep can (like how he capitulated against Real Madrid, despite buying Semenyo and Guehi in Jan, imagine if Slot did this), he is not the main reason for Liverpool’s failures, the FACTS are as follows:
1. Name me just one top team in Europe that bought two centre-forwards, for more than ÂŁ79m each, to compete for just one place? Even worse, breaking the British transfer record for a highly-injury prone Isak.
And any fool that tells me that Ekitike can play on the left is delusional in the highest order because Ekitike WAS NOT bought to play on the left for Liverpool – Don’t try and justify a stupid decision.
2. Luis Diaz was easily the best left-winger in the PL last season – why did we not replace him with Semenyo, Barcola or Diomande, if they were available? Once again, I stated before City signed him, that Semenyo would have been a gamechanger for Liverpool, and his stats tell it all – 18 goals and 6 assists in 39 games, remarkably, one more goal than Ekitike who is a No. 9.
Imagine if we signed a top winger, instead of Isak. And if the rumours are true that Slot wanted DĂaz to stay, but Hughes overruled him, that is a sackable offence for Hughes.
Report: Richard Hughes sanctioned one Liverpool exit in the summer against Arne Slot’s wishes
3. To me, our underperforming players are another big reason for our poor season. Players are committing several damaging blunders like giving throw-ins to opposition (like at City), conceding possession dangerously, missed penalties and several late-match collapses because of lack of concentration.
All this is on our highly-paid players, not Slot, they need to get their act together – that’s why Van Dijk held an emergency meeting with the players on Saturday (just like Henderson used to do when the players were underperforming), because he knows the players are letting down Slot and the fans.
Instead of endless negativity, the aim now must be to get the best out of the remainder of the season, staring on Wednesday. Let’s go to PSG believing we can beat them, and give 100% in trying to do so.

6th April 2026 at 12:28 pm #243143Asiansensation, you raise some valid points about Slot, unlike most fans who just want him to be sacked, while ignoring the facts (which I laid out earlier) about why we have underperformed this season.
Just like yourself, I want Slot to be given until the end of this season, and then the owners can make a decision on him, based on FACTS, not media hype or hysterical, emotional fans’ rantings. And I will fully respsect their decision, but only if it is the right one.
To me, Slot won the PL against all odds and for that he deserves support if he has one bad season. So why was Klopp fully supported when he finished 5th, and didn’t qualify for the CL in 2023???
You can’t apply double standards here, if Klopp was supported for one bad season, then Slot 100% MUST be treated the same way.
Now let’s go and give 100% against PSG, we are Liverpool FC, we can do it.

So you’ll fully respect them only if they do what you want them to do? Disrepect them i guess if not? Yup me too, fully agree.
Or is it you will fully respect them with the gift of hindsight and tell everyone how right you were or you will bad mouth them if they get it wrong? Again, me too.
And everyone else in the world…

6th April 2026 at 3:08 pm #243152I could not agree more with him, there is one point I wanna emphasize though about the academy, Slot bails to Ibiza or back to Holland for a holiday every international break instead of developing the kids.

6th April 2026 at 3:32 pm #243153Bingo, I was about to acknowledge that as I remember you commenting the Saturday Matchday after losing to Brighton and he basically jetted off. This Gentleman here in the Video has cited as one of his pertinent and critical points that forms a relationship to players overused and as a result not consistently getting the best out of them.
We have no kids/academy of players coming through or if we have, there just appears to be a shut-down.

6th April 2026 at 7:36 pm #243160Every point the gentleman made is valid, just imagine the same situation at your workplace.
Would you respect Slot!? Ive had a few more good bosses than bad but I would not want to work under Slot.
He can’t protect the crew from being dismantled, he cant find the right guys for the job, he does not even try to help the youngsters.
It’s more important to blow off steam in Ibiza with Rooney then help out with the kids.
I think that moment lost him the respect of everyone in the squad. The head coach left to celebrate early alone with Rooney on a international break.
He did not wait for his team to be able to celebrate, he just took off early on his own.
Ive had one boss that did something similar, I ended up throwing him out of my house in Norway. I picked him up like a kid by his jeans and threw him out the door.

6th April 2026 at 8:26 pm #243162Exactly Bingo.
Sounds like a Mis-match between Slot and the Players; they’re just not buying into what he wants from them.
Seems like something sort of concealed in public, but otherwise has been bubbling in the background either recently or for a long time.
Makes me think there’s more to this than meets the eye.

6th April 2026 at 8:59 pm #243163It was so worth it, i was on another boat inside 2 weeks making more money.
I cant see anyone buying into hos philosophy anymore, its been found out.
He became a egomaniac after he won the league.
Thinking his football would succeed our football, he is nothing but a yes man that got lucky.
I was a bit too young to have a gathered thought about Hodgson actually, not enough experience on my half but now this halfwit can fuck off.
He actually reminds me of the one captain I threw out, we had been fishing a lot.
We were tired and needed at least 8 hours before we headed out again but that halfwit of a captain decided to go out.
We throw the line out and as soon as we start hauling it in the fucking captain told us he was too tired to work.
He went into his cabin for 8 hours, we did not man the line, we went on a break and gave a fuck all about whether we fished or not. We were not gonna work for him while he slept on the job and that is what Slot is doing.
I would have sacked him before last season ended!

6th April 2026 at 9:25 pm #243164It’a been clear for too long that Slot is not right and unable to change things.
I enjoyed most of our summer signings, I thought we got most of them right. I did not think the money spent on Isak was worth it, but Isak an upgrade on Nuñez – for sure! I think losing Quansah without proper cover (Leoni might be later, but yet unproven) and Diaz was crazy.
Still, can’t wait any longer to get Xabi in to work with the team and the club. Let’s start makung things right again.

7th April 2026 at 1:33 am #243167@songman how we doing? Hope youre well mate.. i agree with your points too.. ive broke it down countless times all season but ignorance is bliss to some i suppose.
We signed apparently £450mill pound worth of players… isak 125mill(has barely kicked a ball), leoni 30mill(played 1 game), frimpong 30mill(spent more time injured than probably played), wirtz 115(done well but a downgrade from diaz this season), kerkez 45mill(lets not go there), ekitike 70mill(good but no jota).
But thats not all “And I will fully respsect their decision, but only if it is the right one.” so signing the players is not a problem, which me and you can agree or disagree, but the following is why im not happy with fsg, hughes and Edwards… to buy those players we had to let go of the following or not replaced them in the right manner…
TAA(one of the best attacking fullbacks of his generation), diaz(probably the best left winger in world football let alone the premier league in 2025), jota(best shot to goal ratio in liverpool history), ben doak (scottish messi & potential to help whilst salah was away), not signing a world class defender to replace matip.
