Fantastic day to be a red for a change and it sounds like the scoreline flattered them rather than us big time. I said the other day that City were definitely beatable but I still didn’t expect it to happen today, so to do that and keep a clean sheet for once is pretty fucking good.
Even sweeter is that’s got to be them out of the title race now, especially if Arsenal win tonight.

Beautiful moment of karma in the game as well. When that balding cunt Donnarumma saved the goal bound effort from Casemiro he did a pathetic childish celebration right in front of him. Went on for ages as well, silly cunt. But then karma had a look at it and went hmmm, naa! And then bang bang!! 🤣🤣🤣
I love stuff like that. All well and good having a quick celebration, slap hands etc.

A great performance all around, the intensity and desire. Quick one and two touch play. Looking to move the ball forward at all opportunities. Never seen our centre backs fire it into midfield so often. One swallow doesn’t make a summer and it’ll be tough against Arsenal away.
On a different note, it seems bizarre seeing Johnathan Woodgate in Manchester United apparels.

Finally got to watch the game. What a fucking win and performance! Virtually everybody but Dalot had a very good game. Very impressed with the maturity of Lammens (looks like he’s been our keeper for the past 10 seasons) and the physicality of Shaw. This is how he looked before that double leg brake

Well done to Carrick for playing players in their natural positions (Shaw, Bruno), coming up with an effective game plan, and getting them all to fight for the win

Also, Mainoo just made Amorim look like an an absolute knob (sorry, no pics MUFC)

Homer – Yeah i was thinking yesterday how in fucks name could Amorim not get Mainoo into his struggling team? Sure he’s young, raw and still developing – but he is an incredible talent. And why would you not have Bruno Fernandes, who’s probably the best in the world in his position, as a No. 10 laying on goals every single week? Amorim got so many things wrong and not just the DNA of the club.
Maybe we’ll actually get the new manager bounce we’re owed from Amorim’s reign?!

Fuck me happy, calm down. If Mainoo was an “incredible talent” he’d have been playing regularly irrespective of who the manager was. What I saw yesterday was what I’ve previously seen, a lad with good technique but who lacks a bit of pace, a bit of physicality and a bit of bite. Not to say he shouldn’t have been playing given the paucity of our midfield options, but you don’t half exaggerate mate. Let’s hope he gets a run and kicks on.
