ParticipantNil, big game Thursday mate and I really hope to see a good strong team out and we try our best to get to Wembley.
Itโs a trophy and Iโd love to win it

ParticipantYeah, hope so Sean. It’s at home too. Need a good start with the first leg. Won’t be easy. Be great to get our noses in front mate.
Got my hopes on the FA. I’d be real chuffed if we won either one of these.

ModeratorYou wonder which Arsenal will turn up if it’s the Arsenal at Forest I can only see a conclusive Liverpool win and the tie probably being put out of Arsenal’s grasp if it’s the Arsenal who played City though it could be a lot closer???

Nine, I’ve found that for whatever reason, it’s Arsenal matches that are the hardest to predict. Of course, I spent such a long time watching us play Wenger teams, so maybe that is ma partial explanation in itself.
Big game alright. I still wish it was just a single game and I dont mean just so it could be at Anfield. If we were to take it that playing first at home would be the solo fixture then fine, play there when able. I’m not a fan of the 2 legs in the LC.
It isnt the CL. It’s a knock out domestic cup, or used to be.

ParticipantYe nine, Iโm hoping they donโt turn up anfield like they havenโt done in most big away games this season.
I donโt think we will blow any teams for a while with Salah and mane away. Not even sure who will play up top as origi injured
A concern is in a good few seasons under jurgen we find jan and feb very tough.

ParticipantA lot of reports saying we wonโt pay mo and will sell in the summer. Be no surprise but fans will go mad.
We should be up there now as a top club , not selling our best players but bringing top players in. We have done nothing since we won the league and how we are expected to compete? Frustrating but I understand weโre we are at but if mo goes then there be uproar. 100m is useless to use as he is irreplaceable

ParticipantWe’re never going to be that type of club with unlimited funds unfortunately.
Look at the business done and revenue raised just to buy Konate.
FSG have many fingers in many pies and as long as they’re in control, that’s how it will be, also praise for all the investment into our stadium and training facilities. I really hope they find a way to tie up Mo. That will bring joy and send at least some sort of a statement.

ModeratorStill plenty of time to sort the Salah situation out but both sides will probably have to concede some ground.
I don’t think Liverpool will sell Salah in the Summer and he will be 30 in June so getting ยฃ100m for him might be difficult.

Participant400k is 80m over 4 years nine mate not sure our owners will pay that
Not sure when he is 30but heโs as fit as a fiddle and you would get st least another 4/5 top years out of him so Iโd be looking for 100m+
Itโs a disaster if we sell him

ParticipantSurely the owners from a commerce POV can see glaringly the ‘augmented product’ that Salah provides and will continue to provide; his global stature/fanbase, shirts that will continue to sell; attraction when touring. Do their sums/projections and he will generate revenue alone. He has good playing years left in him still. And he will attract better players in wanting to join him.

ParticipantSean, Absolutely mate. It feels like ages lol ๐
Playing about aside, First half was a Ragged even with Fabinho scoring. Needed to get into Half-Time as we were more Structured and Purposeful. We have Good Players I think that are not Trusting in themselves. I Noticed Sean too, Klopp being more Laid Back in his usual Aura. Just not like him as he’s usually Upbeat and Galvanizes Everyone.
Must be I think the behind the scenes Unsettlement of Salah.
Above All 3 Points and Second Leg of the Carabao Cup to try and Win.

ParticipantFabinho looks in doubt. May have to start with Milner, Hendo and Ox if recovered from his injury.
Tough game. No easy ride here, but should really be going in with confidence from Thursday. Plus, we have kept clean sheets.
Need 3 points and to win our games in hand. Last one today till February.

ParticipantYe nil very tough game mate. I thought we got lucky. No pen for me and Bobby was definitely interfering with play. Few games this season we havenโt got pens etc so Iโll take trays decisions no problem. First 35 mins is some of the best stuff we have played this season.
Maybe it was tiredness as the nearly the same 11 for all games.Jan is never really a good month for us but we have done really well recently considering missing our two keys forwards , thisgo and Keita. The lack of attacking options was a real worry. Hardly any options ydsy off the bench. We are in a final againest a very tough team and itโs really 50/50.
We won our league games, in a final and 4th around of fa cup. Great month for us and full credit to the manager and players. Excellent stuff
