Guys I just think on the pitch itself is where we lack what I see on the training ground. Surely not for the cameras and lip service?

We need to talk, be vocal, communicate, trust and believe in ourselves. We’ve got such a lovely group of players and with talent too. Need aggression at times, that mean streat and just sheet grit and guts.

It’s very very rare we actually play bad. First half we could have been two up. 2nd was as bad as I’ve seen us play this season

City win, but even with a La Porte header ruled out, they weren’t brilliant. They’re now f*cking reminding me of the old United and winning by their reputation. Though not taking away in them grinding out a win, they’ve reminded us a lesson or two and this is what we should be capable of.

I get you Sean. BTW I never want Klopp to leave, I just think he’s a waste of talent if he isn’t backed. He should be going down in history as one of the best but he’s not going to get that here.

Sean, I believe we faded so bad because the lads over-celebrated Xmas. They knew they had the day off. I have absolutely nothing to back it up, it’s just an opinion. We just looked spent and we had no reason to be so, except for my reasoning there.

Sean, I know Im a bit pessimistic the last few days but tell me this my friend, have you thought that Klopp has maybe won his last trophy with us?

This worries me and not for the club. Klopp deserves better. As you said yourself, he has no right to be challenging City, yet he does. With better backing, he could beat them again.

Anyway, I know Im a bit of a downer the last few days, I won’t say the season is over for me, that wouldn’t be very respectful of our CL and LC campaigns but in all honestly, I had my heart set on the PL this season. Maybe you remember what a big deal I made of our chances and they’ve collapsed.

The City lads are modest and also fearing a bad run of results. They will say it isnt over but it is. I genuinely thought this might be the best PL season in years… Funny old game.

I can’t see us winning the league again mak mate to be honest. We won 26 out 27 games when win it.absolutely crazy numbers and crazy points for two successive seasons. It was unreal. I think those are the heights you need to challenge city. They are just to good.

I’d love to win the carbao cup as it’s a proper trophy and it’s certainly achievable this season. I just want us to win any trophy we can as it’s just so so difficult to win anything with some of the teams we are up againest

Nobody’s destiny is mapped out, but Manchester City are the Pacesetters and there the ones to catch. They’re more likely to win League Titles than Liverpool. Usually in the transfer market, they won’t have difficulty sourcing and attracting good players and are able to pay way over the odds for that something extra.

The two main things I see is squad availability and getting over the line. Compared to Liverpool, they’re not impacted at times the way we are when it comes to injuries and they’ve been more ruthless so far this season.

I think along the journey they can be rattled, but those opposition teams I feel don’t have the belief to see off the whole game coupled with City’s ability to come back. There will be a time of having to rebuild, but the way current trends are if their challengers have a full house, they will come one better with ‘four of a kind’.

Sean, definitely mate. We can win other cups. It’s wonderful for the younger fans who haven’t been Wembley and experienced that part of hope and glory.

I always fancy us to do better in the CL. I think the format of 2 legs generally suits us.

We need to find something as far as the league goes and put on a series of wins. See if we on the right track after that.

Lol, we are depleted for tomozz. I don’t even know what 11 will be out. Salah and Mane gone already. Jk in isolation. Dunno if Taki and Divvy are available. Most probably Jota, Firmino leading our attack. We need a win and it would be super nice to get one.

Alisson, I think has Covid. There’s been rumours of Firmino linked with a shock move to Villa.

Don’t think it’s that, but he might not be available for tomorrow.
