It seems Mainoo in talks with Napoli, and Zirkzee with Roma?. Hopefully we’ll find clubs to take Ugarte and Dalot, too. Then in the summer, another clearout.

4th November 2025 at 11:14 am #229847So many coaches seem to rate Dalot, I don’t get it, he’s shit in attack, mediocre in defence and is dumb as fuck as he clearly makes the same mistakes again and again and again. I can see Mount, he’s clearly an intelligent player and can play multiple positions although none of them to an exceptionally high standard, it’s his fitness is the problem there.

4th November 2025 at 12:41 pm #229857Only Manchester United would have paid 60 mill, given a contract worth 250k per week and thrown in our hallowed number 7 shirt to sign that bang average little fucker Mount, especially after his worst ever injury hit season with Chelsea, plus he had just entered the final year of his deal.
Only Manchester United would have kept that absolutely useless cunt Dalot beyond his first 2 years at the club, extended his contract twice and let him start almost 200 games when it’s always been as plain as the nose on pinocchio’s face that the useless fucker is completely out of his depth.
Unfortunately, you can also rinse and repeat those sort of comments for a very long list of similarly shite wankers who have also been tolerated and richly rewarded for being abject failures, Martial, Jones, Shaw, Rojo, Bailly, Fred, Lindelof, Smalling, Lingard and Pogba to name but a few, simple as that._____________________________

4th November 2025 at 12:52 pm #229858Personally out of that list I think Pogba has to be the biggest disappointment. He couldβve been an absolute beast of a midfielder. 2 footed, strong, powerful, could pass shoot do absolutely everything. But hadnβt got the mentality. If heβd had Roy Keaneβs determination, drive and mentality he wouldβve been one of the greatest midfielders ever in the premier league.

4th November 2025 at 1:01 pm #229859Apart from Amad, Sesko, and the new goalie, they all have to go and fast, if we want to ever challenge for major trophies!

4th November 2025 at 1:28 pm #229860I’ll get stick for tbis but I think Sesko is pretty average, seen nothing to suggest he’ll make it.

4th November 2025 at 11:56 pm #229979Fair to say that Sesko not delivering. Should have buried a few by his standard. He looks off only see glimpses of skill. How he with his stature not nodded a few is a mystery. When think of it i can only remember one single header at goal.

5th November 2025 at 8:04 am #229982There is absolutely zero service into the box from the wide areas, which is hardly surprising with no wingers and Dalot being one of your so called wingbacks, even Harry Kane would struggle in this setup.

5th November 2025 at 9:23 am #229988Look at our setup on Saturday. The ‘wing backs’ who are supposed to supply the striker with crosses. On the right we had Amad, who is left footed, and on the left we had Dalot, who is right footed. How the fuck are our wing backs supposed to cross the ball for Sesko to attack it in the are when they can’t overlap and cross instantly off their natural foot. It they overlap they have to slow down and then cut back onto their strong foot which immediately puts them at a disadvantage and allows the defence to further settle itself before a cross can be made. It’s the same with Mbeuemo and Cunha, both playing on the opposite flank to where they should be.

5th November 2025 at 9:37 am #229992This is what happens when you buy strikers who are 100% reliant. Sadlt this is how all the strikers are now, tall lumps who don’t get involved in build up play. Looking at our wing backs and wingers, am not sure if it is their style to stay wide and pump in crosses.

5th November 2025 at 9:50 am #229997Amorim’s system isn’t designed to cross balls into the box – we’re not David Moyes’ Everton team ffs!
His system is designed for wingbacks to overload the spaces and cut back for the 10’s to score, which is what’s been happening. Sesko is there to occupy the defenders, make runs to create space or hold the ball up and bring others into play. He’s not Chris fucking Wood!!!

5th November 2025 at 9:50 am #229998@MUFC, it’s a no win for many strikers. If they drop back and try to link up play then they’re criticised for not being greedier and wanting the ball in the box more. If they be greedy and stay in the box then they’re criticised for not linking up play. The managers need to come out and say what they’re expecting from their strikers so gobshite pundits, like Gary Neville, can talk about whether the striker is effective or not based on what the manager actually wants, not what they think they want.

5th November 2025 at 9:56 am #230003@happy, if that’s the case, then how did Gyokeres score so many goals using the same system? Was that just a freak in that he had an unusually strong striker in a shit league? Have we been tricked into thinking that the system would give a good striker many opportunities because Gyokeres was having a few freak seasons?

5th November 2025 at 10:09 am #230007Good point. Lots of the Gyokeres goals i saw at Sporting where counter-attacks or turnovers when he just bulldozed through and scored. Maybe Sesko will get opportunities like that in time but for now we seem to be building up slower from the back – which means we need the overloads. Although recently he has switched to more direct, faster attacks hasn’t he? Who knows mate – Gyokeres is 27 so you’d expect him to be at the top of his game. Still plenty of time for Sesko.
I’m still very surprised we don’t have a poacher on the bench though, we’ve not had one for years. Imagine having Chicarito on the bench now in his prime, such a good weapon. We’ve passed up so many opportunities as well in the last few years. The Iranian lad looked like he’d fit the role. And we were close to getting Ben Yedder for a while. I just always think its strange when you look at our bench and there’s literally no one who you’d back to come on and get a goal in the last 20 mins.

5th November 2025 at 10:32 am #230021@happy – Fuck off you simpleton, we don’t put ANY crosses into the box from open play from one month to the next with a 6′ 5″ striker stood there like a fucking statue. It’s all about having a variety to your play so the opposition are kept on the back foot, just look at how many headers Paul Scholes scored throughout his career, and he’s a foot shorter than Sesko!
