With that lackluster performance against Hull, I don’t see us winning any game anytime soon. So I am going for a boring 0-0 scoreline.

Yeah, it’s a draw 2-2 if we can score 2 goals. I’m certain we concede 2 goals in every game with this defence. Former Chelsea player Michel called it right about Maguire never being United standard. I agree and said years ago we never win glory with him in our side. Still he is the first pick as one of the cb’s. That’s how bad our defence is. Hope he will not grab his teammates today when corners sweaping in from opponents.

Agree this is a very big game for Carrick today. Serious questions will be asked if we don’t win and rightly so. I think Ipswich will just use the Hull tactic of 11 men behind the ball and then hit on the break and set pieces. But its up to us to control the game, create openings and bang in a few goals.
Seems there are a few teams that have been caught a bit short by the beginning of the season after the World Cup and we’re definitely one of them.

The problem we have is we just never replace players with better players. So if they’re going to get rid of Bruno it will be a huge downgrade whoever they replace him with.

But sooner or later you have to replace him happy, so when the new future Bruno comes along, you have to do it. Or just settle for another good number ten that may have some of Bruno’s qualities and some qualities Bruno doesn’t have. Bruno’s been good but he’s not Pele mate.

It’s about transforming the team and our club doesn’t know how to do that. We can’t just look at it and think we can’t replace Bruno with the same quality but £60m-£70m for him and buying Rogers (as he was sold this window) could have been achieved for circa £50m.
Rumour that Villa want Amad. If we can sell him for £50m and use those funds and say £30m for a very good left and centre back then that would be good business.
