Ineos own 29% of the club with all that entails, so far from being in this to restore us back to the top again it seems to me that his main and overriding intention is to make even more money out of his investmen. Considering he’s already worth 15 billion and is 74 years of age it proves what I said all along, ie that Manchester United is just another one of his trinkets to feed his massive ego.
The guy is actually a far, far bigger cunt than all the gimps put together, which takes some fucking doing._____________________________

18th August 2026 at 10:09 am #253280The fact that the gimps intentionally sold 29% to him instead of selling the whole to the Saudis should have shown they are two peas in a pod. Itβs all about the returns for them and the commercial side of Man UTD business is super lucrative.

18th August 2026 at 10:44 am #253285Sounds like they are concentrating efforts and cash to the new stadium? Reports they have now bought all the land needed for it canβt remember the cost
Weβve seen this kinda thing before at arsenal and spuds to a degree so maybe similar?

18th August 2026 at 11:18 am #253286Definitely think the stadium has had a big impact on the cashflow situation. The land acquisitions and all the fees associated with the initial phase will have to be covered by the club. Longer term seems the plan is to move the stadium costs to some type of special investment fund but i’d say the clubs cashflow is covering a lot of the current costs until that funding is in place.

18th August 2026 at 11:34 am #253287I think it’s more to do with the club’s legacy transfer debt at the moment, with 209 mill out of a total of 360 mill having to be paid back this year alone. Then the fact that they haven’t been able to generate any incoming funds from the likes of Rashford, Zirkzee, Ugarte or Onana.

18th August 2026 at 2:09 pm #253298Why would mediocre players leave when they’re earning top player wages?

18th August 2026 at 2:20 pm #253299Rashford could still go to Barca, they’re apparently still in contact with his representatives. Surely they have to have a decent academy player who we could get in a straight swap? Pay him Β£50-60k a week and Β£100k of Rashford’s wages for the next two seasons in order to get him away. Does that sound too much like good sense?

18th August 2026 at 4:01 pm #253308@killy That sounds like too good a sense for the people at the club.

18th August 2026 at 4:42 pm #253309I just donβt think anyone at Barca wants to come to United lads. Sad, but true.

18th August 2026 at 5:06 pm #253312If there was a decent kid who wanted to get first team football, he’d take your hand off to come to a club like United. We could always screw Barca over by selling him back if he turned out to be good. They’re more sentimental than us in some ways, look at how hard they worked to Olmo back and he left when he was only a kid via Croatia and Germany before going back

18th August 2026 at 5:19 pm #253314We don’t need untried kids from Barcelona or anywhere else, we need oven ready players who will come in and immediately strengthen the squad in readiness for a long season.
What we are seeing so far this window from Ineos is pathetic enough as it is without compounding matters even further, simple as that._____________________________

18th August 2026 at 7:24 pm #253316No need to worry blacky, kids in the Barca academy generally want to play for Barca. The more worrying issue is that top names no longer want to come to United. Theyβre all queuing up to go to Barca or Madrid, or in the PL, Arsenal, City, Liverpool and Chelsea. Weβve become second tier in a matter of ten years.

18th August 2026 at 7:53 pm #253325It doesnβt take a genie to predict mount getting injured just as Martinez or Shaw will get injured next.
I agree with @jm even at the second tier the young players still choose Brighton, Aston villa, Leipzig or Dortmund over us because we simply donβt give game time to young talented players.

18th August 2026 at 8:15 pm #253327I’m glad that sawn off little fucking cunt is injured again, it just shows how deluded anyone was to believe he could ever be anything other than an unreliable little twat.

18th August 2026 at 9:38 pm #253328People saying Madrid want to sell Camavinga and we should sign him because he can play DMF and LB. Fucker’s missed 47 odd games in the last two seasons. Fucking hell, Mason Mount has nearly been more available than him

19th August 2026 at 9:03 am #253339Marrtinez. Shaw and Mount have to be gone first. Getting paid to be injured, saying that. Players on the pitch are being paid to play but not actually playing.

23rd August 2026 at 10:13 am #254008Reading the comments after yesterdays game. Doesn’t manager which manager we have, long as we have these owners and the staff they’ve employed. Nothing is going to change then, no matter who the manager is?
