It’s got fuck all to do with supporting the club you fuckwit, I’ll bet I’d been to more games by the time I was 12 years of age than you’ve been to in your entire life! It’s about calling out the way the club is being run which is clearly not right by a million miles, something that you have singularly failed to do every time a topic like this crops up, deary me.

3rd October 2025 at 9:50 am #227816It needs a new direction Blacky! Jose, Ole and Ten Haag all played the same McFred style football and it failed! Theyβre trying to take the club in a different direction to be more successful. So why on earth would they rip it all up at the first hurdle?
If we start again now, with a new manager, weβre back to square fucking one and falling further behind!
Look, if he loses to Sunderland then serious questions will be asked but no manager is going to succeed unless theyβre given some time. Absolutely no one!_____________________________

3rd October 2025 at 10:07 am #227822@happy – A new direction yes, but with a completely inadequate guy who is totally out of his depth leading it absolutely not. The guy has shown us nothing other than gross incompetence and a total failure to adapt from the very first day he arrived, and despite having nearly a year and 200 mill plus to spend the team is still as abject as it was in his very first game.
The Sunderland game is irrelevant in many ways because even if we rip them a new one the fundamentals will still come back to haunt us the following week and the week after that, and if you think relegation is not a possibility you are totally deluded, especially if the expected suspects like Leeds and Sunderland keep on picking up points._____________________________

3rd October 2025 at 5:56 pm #227835all this talk of the system is, for me, giving cover to the players, an excuse as to why they are so poor. but let us look at the facts. if we played a 442, our centre backs are still totally crap and exposed both defensively and offensively. in midfield, with a 4, when we had garnacho, amad, rashford, sancho, and Antony. not one of them could cross a ball. in the middle we would still have no legs regardless of system. so we are fucked either way, whatever system, because the players we have, in the main, are not good enough for ANY system. all this talk of xg from happy is also bollocks because I’ve watched the games. what are all these great chances we are getting? I haven’t seen many.
as for manager, if Scholes and Keane can come in and be themselves as assistants or even manager, that would be such a huge plus. I am still pained by the way they treated Keane at the end just because he was trying to keep the standards of the club up and make people accountable. and I want Keane and Scholes to take first team coaching as it’s been absolutely diabolical for well over a decade now and that has nothing to do with system.

3rd October 2025 at 7:55 pm #227837Happy, you’re right, we did want Amorim to be successful but it’s highly unlike he will. There comes a point when fans, players and owners lose confidence and most of us have gone past that point. It’s only the ones hoping by some fluke he finds a winning first 11 and opposition fans that want him in charge now.

3rd October 2025 at 8:05 pm #227839Just saw Seskoβs goal against Brentford won Goal of the month at the club π€£π€£π€£
@Englishbob i do agree with you we do have certain players who are not good enough but regardless of formation used there should be a pattern play or at least an attempt of it and thatβs where the buck stops with the manager; the pattern of play, team selection, in-game management, substitutions etc Amorim sucks at all of this.. we finished the game against Brentford with Mason mount having played 3different positions in the space of 15mins when he came on and Mbeumo ending the match at RWB._____________________________

3rd October 2025 at 10:33 pm #227844@DeeUtd I haven’t seen a successful pattern of play since Fergie retired and not a good one since the 2008 season. So I’m not saying he shouldn’t have instilled one, I’m just saying that hasn’t been, to my mind, just an Amorim problem. Not that that lets him off the hook. However his team selection, whilst clearly hampered by a lot of poor players, has been diabolical as has his substitutions. For me, I was so upset after the last game that I don’t see how we can persist with the fella. And I was all for giving him a couple of years to turn things around but what I’m seeing on the pitch has just been so poor. I genuinely think they are wining and dining Southgate because Jim seems to be sort of person who wants someone who interviews well and is good with the media as opposed to, you know, someone who is good at his job.

4th October 2025 at 9:32 am #227856INEOS will not sack Amorim yet. Man United is a cursed club. Players and managers coming to this club finds their early graveyard. It’s been Emperors new clothes club the last 15+ years, a constant torture for fans and yes Rooney was a better player bald.

4th October 2025 at 11:34 am #227860The Gimps knew wat they were doing when they refused to sell to the saudiβs and instead gave Ineos some shares .. the ineptitude of INEOS βmightβ slowly over shadow the years of abysmal football decision making the gimps had done.. itβs just no matter how badly the football aspect deteriorates MANCHESTER UNITED as a commercial machine doesnβt seem to get hit.

6th October 2025 at 12:20 pm #228037No point reflecting on what could have been. Rashford is flourishing because he’s gotten out of United. Gotten away from the rot, gotten away probably from most of his overly large entourage that were filling his head full of shit. It wasn’t just United that were his problem here, he was the problem because he was to many around the club and Manchester a bit of a god. It wasn’t healthy. I don’t think he could ever have rediscovered that kind of form here. We don’t have the leadership on the pitch to do it, and until Amorim came we didn’t have a coach with it either, even if we did have it, he was too far gone.

6th October 2025 at 12:35 pm #228039Agreed, it’s a case of missed opportunities with Rashford. We should have sold him long ago for a good profit and he’s not been interested and missed out on playing in major competitions. If Barca has reignited his passion for the game then let’s hope it lasts until we sell him.
