I still think both Werner and Havertz were signed without considering how they fit in the team. Chelsea play 433 right? Or at least seem to every time I’ve seen them. Both those players would fit a 4231 much better but then Mount would be benched.

I think for RBL Werner played in a 3412 were he could drift into the channels.

Mav, I think it’s purely down to chosen Management mate. I think either Lampard should have been a Number 2 or he needs an experienced Number 2.

Players whatever their stature and level of ability need guidance and good coaching.

Think both Werner and havertz will shape up into fantastic premiership players.

For me it’s about our midfield. Havertz kantemakalele and mount have the energy.

Jorginho and or kovacic with kante and we look really lethargic.

I’d also be looking to shift giroud on in January. Playing Werner through middle and in competition with Abraham.

Arsenal deserved the points today.

Cant wait for our match today, ive played my triple captain for Salah. Figured he’s already on form, would be less likely to celebrate christmas too much, is well rested and against opposition who love to concede goals.

So Salah for 2 points then! 😀

I’m interested in Werner…at the beginning of the season I thought he looked really good, even though from memory it took him a game or two to score. He looked sharp, his movement and pace were superb, and I really thought Chelsea had got themselves a diamond. And after the incessant speculation over the last 18 months about him coming to Anfield, I was very jealous we’d missed out on him. I think it’s likely he will still prove to be a massive success, but he has looked very poor recently, and I can’t really understand why. He has good players around him, but maybe Lampard is rotating everyone else too much? I know they’ve had injuries, but one week he’s playing alongside Abraham, next week Giroud, next week Havertz, next week Pulisic. It seems that only Werner himself and Mount of the offensive players are definite starters. Compare and contrast with Klopp who, admittedly with a smaller pool of attacking players to pick from, always plays 3 of Mo, Mane, Bobby or Jota.

Very well done Leeds for holding on to their lead and securing all 3 points. Lots of pressure towards the end of the game from Burnley. But being at the right place at the right time and resisting from the ball finding the net.
