Half-time. Need to be more aware of Shaw’s runs as the last man. Also the switch from one flank to another. Fabinho needs to be careful too as the game wears on.
We’re missing the dare to shoot from midfield. Maybe the midfielders could do more. Good to finally score, but confidence still is lacking and it’s showing on players.

Thought once Liverpool pulled it back to 2-2 they’d go on to win it, fair play to Man United for being able to step it back up.

Man Utd just never look out of it in a game. They just seem so calm. Will that change when the fans come back? As for us, some better signs today. Thought Thiago was poor. Need another defender. We’ve basically drifted back to our 2017 spec with our defensive woes.

Entertaing match, Utd had that bit of quality that counted though. All is not lost for Liverpool although they do need somebody to start knitting it together. Sorry for the young lad that made the mistake which made a goal but hopefully he will learn and move on from the experience quickly. In any way, the more experienced players in defence should have played better, too much passing about in there own half in the last moments when they should have been throwing everything forward. Utd are getting better although I think they still have defensive issues. Next round awaits

Commiserations to the Liverpool lads on here. Much better game than the last one and the silver lining for Liverpool is that they’re back among the goals and created some good chances today. Could really have gone either way.
Really pleased to see Greenwood back scoring again. He’s having that typical difficult second season after such a promising break though last season.
Yet another tough game for Liverpool now on Thursday against Spurs.

Luke Shaw must be one of the most improved players in the league this season. He’s never looked the same player since he broke his leg but he’s been very good this season. Bruno gets all the plaudits, understandably, but Shaw and Fred are the unsung heroes for Utd so far this season.

Really good game miles better than last weeks.
I thought Liverpool shaded it in the second half Fernandes changed the game when he came on, wonderful free kick.
Difficult days currently for Liverpool but they played well today and on another day it could have been different.

Mikus, I’d say this version of Pogba is probably the best we’ve ever seen of him in a Utd shirt. I realise that’s not saying much but he’s finally playing like the player we thought we’d bought.
Whether he’s playing for a summer move or not is irrelevant at this stage as we just need him to play as well as he can.
I suspect Ole has promised him a summer move in return for him getting his head down and performing. Suits all parties that he does exactly that and I think there is then an amicable parting of ways come the summer.
