Brilliant Cup tie bit of a throwback had fans been in the ground Cheltenham might have done it.
Cheltenham left everything on the pitch tonight and they should be very proud of themselves. Tozer was outstanding.Foden is coming along very nicely now and eventually the cream rose to the top.

The best Cup match I have seen for a long time. I stated earlier that Cheltenham will have brave hearts, they gave everything, we needed to bring on Gungdoghan cancel and Diaz to change the game.. Started with too many youngsters for a match like this but they did OK, a step up from Academy games as well and it shown at times, but they have a future.

Nine…my honest opinion….until the changes were made to players and tactics I thought we had lost it or at best gone to penalties. Mahrez Torres and Jesus did not perform well enough up front.

Pagan, if you’re alluding into an ideology that reflects the 80’s and the 90’s, then I’m absolute game mate 🙂 Pagan, one of my memories still inside me was 1987 which was then the Littlewoods Cup and Liverpool losing 2-1 to Arsenal – Charlie Nicholas the Winner.
Truly fond of the League Cup Pagan. One stand out for me is that for over two Decades, we’re seeing February as a Final where by before, it was a lot more closer to the FA Cup Final; there was affinity back then between the two when placing them side by side.
Perhaps in reality over time, The Champions League with all the Glamour and Money Steamrolled PERCEPTION or at the very least inflicted impacted on the Domestic Cup Competitions.

Watched Manchester Coty toy with Cheltenham for most of the first 80 minutes and change gears from the 80th minute on. It was fun to watch while it lasted however it was quite clear what unfolded would happen. Great effort Cheltenham though.

Can still see both teams playing strong enough teams with a few 1st team regulars rested
Taa and Robertson have to be rested for us along with winhidum and a few others
Starts for Jones, milner, willians, tmiskas and can see Bobby and salah starting after been benched v burnley

Nine…I am not surebwhat has happened with cancel, we knew he had skill but plenty of mistakes, now, he has transformed himself like Stones. Was his biggest critic now he is my first choice RB…Whatever they are taking I will have some or is it just having a cold shower in the continuous Manchester rain!!!

First goal shouldn’t have stood, the laws clearly state there can only be one ball in play, the Luton player was playing one ball back to the side line as the other was thrown in…..Pagan

To clarify the law about two balls on the pitch, the law states
“If an extra ball, other object or animal enters the field of play during the match,
the referee must stop the match only if it interferes with play.”The original ball was on the pitch, therefore the extra ball is the one being thrown on, hence it has to be interfering with play….Pagan

9, they got it wrong, there was already a ball on the field of play, therefore the extra ball was the one thrown in. To be honest 9, I didn’t think it was that difficult to understand and it’s not like refs and VAR are always correct…..Pagan
