I think we all agree the FFP rules are a joke, just trying to understand them… and float a theory that the beancounters are more involved than the coaches these days…

Best half of footy for the whole weekend for me, that gave it a right good battering… although I still have no idea what the red card was about… whatever it was the cameras didn’t pick up on it.

I think it’s difficult for the FFP Rules or the ones governing them to ensure everybody plays by the book. It’s the same in the ‘real world’. Companies either rename themselves or add secondary companies to their chain to offset their earnings and get around the tax system.
Something along these lines I would suspect happens in football. Why would anyone need naming rights for example on their stadium. Second sponsorships on training wear. Clubs finding loopholes. The inflation in itself is another discussion on a player. Players are priced more than their actual worth and it’s the agents and the clubs that are milking.

Chucks would love it mate (FFP Educational Video 🙂 ). One thing I can’t get my head around is Managers receiving big pay outs after they lose their jobs as a way of compensation. That can’t be right surely….. Something needs to change there as far as that particular element goes.
