Best bet for getting them back up if they relegated too though and I am sure that must have been part of thinking behind considering bielsa as well as dyche. Although whether they are thinking long term at that club is anyone’s guess!

Yeah true re best bet to get them up again Lucky. I suspect they’d gladly take the compensation hit if he does keep them up and a trendier manager came up for grabs in the summer anyway.

Yeah Ed and it wouldn’t do his cv any harm in that case either.
The club is a mess though it needs to decide what it wants to be and sort ownership issues out ASAP. The fact they were considering two completely different managers suggests they have no idea right now.
If Dyche can’t keep them up I doubt anyone could have and forgetting all the other nonsense the decision to sack lamps and replace with dyche is a good one.
