Worth keeping a watch defo for Brighton-Chelsea Tuesday. Brighton will fancy their chances and a win mean they leapfrog to 6th Place with 50 Points.

Have to watch out for Brentford-Bournemouth. Essentially, these realistically are the Teams to capitalize on our slip us. I don’t really see any Thorn us such except us doing what we do and have done to ourselves – self destruction!

So let’s ensure we beat Palace Saturday, get a positive Result at Old Trafford and most of us, avoid Injuries and Suspensions.

We now have a game a week.
Plenty of time to recuperate but also work on the training pitch properly.
Palace home
Utd away
Chelsea home
Villa away
Brentford home

Palace and Villa could be caught he up in their European journeys.
We have that 7 point buffer ahead of Chelsea but also only 3 points off Villa and Utd.
We can now start looking up the table and aiming to catch them rather than over worrying what’s coming up behind us as much.
All these teams bar Palace have something to play for in the league so no easy games.

Another 3 points next weekend please.

I realised exactly a year ago today we played Leicester and I was there!!

It was another step close to clinching the Title. What a Difference 12 months can make!

We should be a lot more comfortable managing a game a week and yes, we don’t need to be really too bothered at what’s below us but instead look at catching United and Villa. Just because we are occupying 5th as it stands, it doesn’t mean we don’t aim high and be complacent.

Things can change quickly and overtime. I’m sure the Gunners had like a 15 point lead or even higher and at one point the Bookmakers were paying out. Now it looks like the walls are closing in on them. Just 3 Points.

Tough test indeed for Woodman for the foreseeable future of most likely 3 the next 3 matches. Alisson not back till mid May. Mama we don’t even know about.

My main worry is right-back and Konate. Both going in hand-in-hand leaving opposition teams to take apart and expose us. When I think about this deeply, it leaves me in despair to the mess we have to face up in the lack of real squad depth.

Rob, Glasner put on both Mateta and Sarr on the hour. Game stayed at 0-0. I think they’re going to be carefully used because of Europe although they’ll have a 3/4 day rest after playing us.

If we get the first goal like Fulham, we should be home and dry with a win. Lol I won’t apply the word ‘comfortable’ though haha 🙂
