It’s that time of year: time to give our thoughts to some awards:
– Player of the Season
– Signing of the Season
– Disappointment of the Season

– FootyDebate Poster of the SeasonMine are as follows:
– Player of the Season: Fernandes is the one to go for, but I’d also give a shout-out to Lammens: bar one mistake against Liverpool he was solid all season, which is not easy for an unknown young keeper at United.
– Signing of the Season: Lammens
– Disappointment of the Season: I love him to bits, but Amad was a real disappointment this year; didn’t kick on at all after his breakthrough season last year.
– Unsung Hero: Going for Shaw in this one; he actually started all 38 games this season and was relatively solid throughout; something I never expected from him.
– FootyDebate Poster of the Season: Going for Diggybomb here – always seemed quite level headed (as much as us United fans can be lol)

I think Mbeumo for me, slotted in straight away and his work rate is amazing. Went on a barren spell after the AFCON but still ended up with 14 G/A in 33 games this season playing sometimes on the wing and sometimes up top. Feel like he has another level to get to as well which hopefully will be next season.– Disappointment of the Season

You’ve gone Shaw which i think is a good shout. If Mainoo had have played all season i think i would probably go for him. But i’m gonna go for Dalot. Unpopular choice i know! But his energy levels are great, is rarely injured and can make a difference in the attacking 3rd at times. Obvious flaws to his game but i think he’s improved a lot since Carrick came in.– FootyDebate Poster of the Season

Bruno, obviously, nothing more to add.

Lammens, settled a very unsettled looking back line very quickly. Has handled the pressure of the position very well.
– Disappointment of the Season
No-one has really disappointed, most of the players can’t be faulted for trying but a few have underwhelmed, Amad probably. Started ok but has faded badly, especially since the AFCON, Mbuemo has too. A good reason not to buy African qualified players.
– Unsung Hero
Maguire, has kept plugging away, can slow as an oil tanker trying to turn or stop but continues to do a great job and show other players how to just keep on trucking and trying.

Signing of the Season: Lammens and this is not debatable.
Player of the season: Bruno not just because of his brilliance but because despite all Amorim did Bruno still maintained his elite levels.
Disappointment of the Season: Amad for the fact that he has the talent but somehow didn’t take it up a notch this season.
Unsung hero: Shaw and Dalot, yes they both can he frustrating but their commitment has never been in doubt.
Poster of the Season: Happy mate no one touches your constant ray of pissing Sunshine🤣🤣; but good shout to Blacky and Jm for also not being delusional like some of the other Lovable delusional lots on here.

Player of the season- Bruno (nuff said already)
Signing of the season- Lammens (has brought about a calmness to the defence, also after he conceded a goal he didn’t go to bits like Onana.
Disappointment of the season- Mount (I like the guy, you can see he has football intelligence, the problem is he just can’t stay fit. So he never plays! The likes of Zirkzee and Urgarte aren’t even worth noting.
Unsung hero- Sesko just ahead of Casemiro, (Casemiro scored some important goals and even though it’s 100 percent the right time for him to go. I think we will miss him more than we realise). Sesko gets it simply because having dealt with the pressure of big money move and being the main striker at the club. Had a better season than I expected.
Poster of the season- This is tough one. Happy and Blacky’s banter really makes me laugh. Even though I disagree with 80% of Maverick, I respect that fact that he’s passionate about Utd. However I think that Killy and Zico’s posts are insightful and balanced.

I think Lammens for me, came in, settled that shaky backline and made us forget that clown Onana for good.– Disappointment of the Season
De Light without a doubt. Started well then went on injured for 6 months. A quality player but can stay fit! I suggest we cut our losses and get rid while we still can!– Unsung Hero
I will go for Sesko! Big money move, lots of pressure and expected to be the starting striker at a club like Utd at 21. He has handled it well and performed exceptionally well. Hope he performed better next season.

I like Happy for his positivity and love for Utd but I love Blacky more because of how he constantly puts Happy in place haha. Blacky is the funniest poster on here and I enjoy reading his posts both here and formerly from Teamtalk!_____________________________
