Sean, I know the feeling. It breaks my heart just seeing out of the window ordinary people pass by my house wearing masks. They don’t need or have to, but they are.
It’s backwards and forwards non-stop.
Kier Starmer is all well and well plucking out Boris’ misdemeanors, but if Labour want to get back in power, they need to really pull out the stops.
Everything’s a shambles mate. No trust. Can’t wait till football’s back to take my mind off all this nonsense.

Actually Rover putting aside his current problems Boris was actually considered a good Mayor of London.
“Johnson left office still popular with the people of London. A YouGov poll commissioned at the end of his term revealed that 52% of Londoners believed he did a “good job” as Mayor of London while only 29% believed he did a “bad job”.”
Still think he should resign though! He won’t though go until he’s pushed.

Back in isolation for 5 days after testing positive this morning. Definitely don’t feel well – bones feeling cold and feverish with a sore throat.
Cases on the rise again. People going on about their business especially holidays.
I wonder if restrictions will return.

The biggest problem we have in our country is Govt. My own opinion on this is, you could line up every single MP and you would be hard pressed to make a half decent team, no matter Con/Lab/Lib etc
There is not one outstanding candidate you would say, here is a person to lead the country. It is sad but true, so we have to settle for less. I certainly do not want to be ruled by Union barons who support to have “there members” wishes at heart, even if they did, they should not be in a position to hold the country to ransom . We just do not have the calibre of person who has the drive, initiative or strong belief in putting the country first. Boris did do wrong and should resign but we must remember he took us through a very difficult time and with all the other actions and incidents he has had to deal with deserves some credit, I shudder to think if Corbyn, Starmer etc would have been in charge where we would have been, be careful what you wish for. They both know how lucky they have been to be in opposition and not having to deal with it._____________________________

Nike… get well soon….I have had similar symptoms plus a really bad hacking cough. I did a Covid check and that was OK. I have had 4 jabs to date. Doctor prescribed medication feeling a little better after 5 days of aches and pains. Age is not on my side so getting strength back is my priority now. I have to get better soon because I have just bought a new keyboard!!!!!

I started significant vomiting on Tuesday and felt awful and just as I was beginning to ramp up my walking too! I tested positive on Wednesday terrible hacking cough which is keeping me awake at night as well as originally a sore throat which felt like razor blades legs weak now had another test today still positive I’ll have one every day now until I get 2 positive tests. Hopefully it doesn’t hinder my overall recovery too much. Take care Nil and you Brian. God Bless 9’s

Brian, hope you get better mate in strength, that’s important. I did have a little something to eat this afternoon as well as taking my medication. Work and 111 are aware and I shall have to get in touch with my GP tomorrow, so a record is logged. Hopefully in the middle of the week, things will change.

Taste and essentially loss of appetite and temperature fluctuation have been the key factors. Carried a test yesterday and it came negative. Will do another tomorrow. Have lost weight in the process and have been doing so over the last several months a more controlled diet.
Well, it would appear we will have a new Prime Minister. We need in my eyes to have learned from any previous mis-judgements. Obviously what we want to avoid is a lockdown, so if Masks have to be worn again for projection then so be it.

No hardship for me to start wearing masks again Nil, sounds sensible. As to PM…well I do not fancy ANY of the alternatives whoever they are, whatever party and it seems to me we have a bunch of hypocrites,who have spent more time debating a party than actually running the country as they should be doing. Nobody will convince me either that they are blameless during the Covid period…it is just that they were not caught.There just be Parliamentary rule…..what goes on in Parliament serves the country and people not personal agendas and power struggles. They pick up money for title tackle…get some real work done MPs!!!
