SkyBet don’t seem to be too interested in the ECL Chucky? But another site still has Spurs in the betting despite the likely threat of exclusion and if not excluded the need to face Rennes prior to any play off v Rapid Vienna.

Be amazed if Spurs got a bye Chucky Spurs called the game off at the last minute as Rennes arrived in the country and UEFA can’t find a suitable date between both Clubs to reschedule it because of fixture congestion across both Clubs rightly or wrongly it will be on Spurs for calling it off and Vitesse will go through or somehow they will find a date to play Rennes which is a game Spurs have to win if it were to take place to have the rights of a play off place v Vienna.
Spurs are where they are primarily because of poor results particularly v Mura though.
From a Spurs perspective it’s a shame because if they could have progressed under Conte they would have had a very good chance of going all the way imo.

No, I don’t think so Mak. Simply because I don’t think it’s even debatable. It’s partly the strength of the 3 PL sides and partly the lack of strength of the competition elsewhere. This is as bad as the Spanish, Italian and German (Bayern the exception) competition has been in modern times. The only excuse any of the 3 has for not winning it is if Bayern or one of the other 3 knock then out.

Ed is right in that it’s not debatable imo.
However in my subjective opinion the city and pool sides that for 2 years in a row pushed themselves to 95+ points are as good as any premier league sides I have ever seen. I wouldnt debate it of course but it’s my opinion. I think pool are almost as good as they were then now, and city better still.
