I remember Spuds vs Pool last season, Mane should have got 4 yellows in the first half alone (and the first of those should have been a straight red vs Rose!) and another 2/3 in the second. Don’t recall ever seeing a player finish 90 minutes like that and wonder how on earth he stayed on the pitch…. like most things in the game, it’s all swings and roundabouts, we all remember the ones that go against us while conveniently forgetting the ones that went for us.
I’ll give you all inconsistency, but I’m just going to laugh my head off if anybody claims conspiracy! 🙂

Wasn’t that just after Luiz had gone thru Aguero? Not saying it’s right and he should of got a straight red for that also. Bit again you pick one isolated incident. We’ve had four in as many weeks. Just after calls have been made to foul our players more.

…tbh Jim your players have been on the end of some bad tackles recently and there should be more protection from the officials. Puncheon should have been a retrospective red card but Moss gave him a yellow so he’s got away with it as should the Kane and Alli tackles been red cards and until it’s stamped on by the officials it will continue.

I think particular players like hazard and kdb are being targeted but it’s just the refs in general. So Inconsistent.
How was Simon Francis not sent off for that high boot and how was Wilson goal allowed to stand when clear handball.
Mane was sent off and Solanke goal disallowed. I’ve no problem with that but the same should have applied to the two Bournemouth players.
How is puncheon sent off? The refs and linesmen are missing basic decisions. Gundogan tackle was done right in front of the linesman.

It’s reslly gone beyond the joke now lads. They are getting so many simple decisions wrong.its a tough job but come on. They need to be much more consistent

Precisely Sean. Trouble is those at the top of the game in the FA are simply not fit for purpose. You only have to look at the way they deal with diving. Good idea in principal but they can’t even get that right with the unanimous panel decesion bollox with some dives not even questioned. The ref and or 4th official should be able to look at decesions after the game and change a yellow to a red and vice versa. Either that or being in vid technology.
