We are 4th simply because its an absolutely average league.
People think this is only this season. We have been dominated by loads-of teams. Southampton and west ham both came to anfield last march and april and dominated us.
The same conversations are going on well over a year. This team dont work hard for each other . Lax attitude all over the place. Szobo is the only one who presses. Theres no fucking plan
Ive never seen our fan base this bemused by amanager since Hodgson. Its not going to change.
Either get alonso or we will support slot in the summer then sack him at Christmas and alonso wont be available. The club cannot get this wrong or it sets us back years.

You boyz are having a girrafe…
so we are missing our best player(salah), number 1 striker(ekitike), 2nd striker on the bench with no fitness(isak), our first choice keeper out(allison), our first choice right back out(connor bradley), our future best player out(wirtz)… and you comedians cant work out why we struggled??? Then you boys boast about your skills in FM, championship manager… The irony
Watched the game and no doubt we were shite, fortunately chelsea were just as shite! We need to deffo get a leftback, our current one offers us fuckall in attack or general play… i know i sound like a broken record but seriously questions need to be asked about the recruitment of him(sorry threeps).
I mentioned it many times, but if salah played all season we would be near arsenal and city… hes not played the last 2 games and weve not won both.
Positives: rio is really building his confidence, does WAYYY too much though. Curtis played well in the second half(defending was poor though, cucufuckinrella got in behind a dozen times), mac was getting “stuck in” and playing like he should off the ball (Didn’t do much on the ball tbf). Konate and van dijk did well. Szobo finally learnt how to cross a ball.
Negatives: leftback offered us nothing in attack. Right back offered us nothing in defence, frimpong didnt offer us much in attack, gakpo was non existent, midfield were getting overrun, we never won our game.
Will be back to offer more insightful knowledge so err stay tuned and miss you all!
ps great to have you back monster and dont mess with ginger, i did my research and the guys HARD AS FOOOOCCKKKK, hes a cross between chuck norris, mohammed ali, bruce lee with a touch Of khabib and a dash off steven seagall… Dont say i didnt warn you!!!

There is no much insight there Asian that has not been stated before, everyone knows Gakpo is non existent on the field, he had 14 touches, we know Kerkez offers nothing going forward, we know Jones is not a right back and we all know ginger has not had a original post here for a decade. Still valid opinions but they are usually just against someone else, he never comes up with a thread of his own. Which is a shame actually, if he actually bothered and spoke up I bet a few of us would listen but that does not really happen when you are always arguing against someone else.
Mikus Romano is paid to tweet, he does not need to be right about everything, he still gets paid and I honestly doubt Alonso would touch the Chelsea job, there is too much interference there. Here at Anfield he could wrestle control of the club and the fans would back him.
I doubt Slot will stay, the only reason to allow him to stay is if Edwards wants to continue with him and that will be tight noose around his neck, he would basically need to put his future in the hands of Slot. Cause another bad half of a season will see the whole of Anfield boo them or stop showing up, some say this culture is against club methods but the Liverpool fans in the city are the most powerful people behind the club.
I don´t see anyone in the team recognizing that fact, I see most players take it the wrong way, the only one I have seen speak out against the boos with some understanding of what is going on is Gomez and if Slot continues to play this slow moth ball, not a single fan will back him.
The standards have fallen greatly this season and there is only one man to blame for that, the same man that somehow shot back at Salah that you also need standards on the pitch. That is a joke right, Slot is a loser, a ego maniac that can´t take any criticism aimed back at him without throwing said person under the bus.
If Edwards wants to continue to back him he is risking his own job and reputation!

Have you seen the amount of stress this particular thread has consumed. One the worse weekends of this season mate. A correlation yet again that a Team been on a real bad run finds something against us.
Injuries or missing players, absolutely woeful from us. I’m struggling to look forward to this Friday Night!

Nil, unfortunately everything ive stated in that first paragraph is factual and its probably one of the defining reasons why we only drew and played shite!
No its not the worst weekends of the season for us… my worst moment of this season was when Connor bradley got injured against arsenal, or when salah did his outburst! Well look on the bright side.. at least we didnt lose 🤷‍♂️
However you are right, we were pants in the second half of the first half, but better in the first half of the second half, yet in the second half of the second half we made some shocking substitutions leading to a disorientated finish and thus my final conclusion is that it was a game of two halves for each half of both halves… i hope that sorted out all the confusion.

@sean stop worrying my brother, we were just as bad in 2021 and 2023 yet we nearly won the title the following season. Have some belief… i thought the irish were renowned for being a positive bunch?
However, lets get champions league sorted and hopefully the club invests and also gets our injured players back up to speed! If slot is fired, thats on him, whoever comes in has my full backing(unless its Donald Trump)… if he stays he will also have my full backing!

As said before, maybe it’s easier to just blame players? Requires little thought and understanding of the game, a mote simple experience.

probably because hes not had all his players at his disposal all season… no doubt with such a “shitty league” that would have made a difference… maybe the play might have still been the same but the results would have been different… and as always thats the most important factor.
