I still prefer Domestic trophies which will be there when EC has gone, The FA Cup to me is still the one that gives me enjoyment from Round 1, part of British heritage. Stevo, I guess there is a positive in Club members voting for a Club President every 6 years and not being owned by often faceless owners many of whom only care about what they can make from owning the Club that can never happen at Barca.

The new elections are in March and Font had previously stated prior to the Bayern result that the end of Messi has to be managed and that he wants to bring Xavi back to the Club.

But stating he will sack Koeman if he is elected which currently seems likely just adds to Barca’s current problems as does Bartomeu stating the only players who are safe from the cull are circa 8 as it’s not going to be easy particularly in the current circumstances to move so many players on.

Be interesting to see how all this plays out over the next 12 months or so.

Lyon could have been a couple up before Bayern scored last night but I suspect Bayern would still have had enough to beat them.

Be interesting to see whether Bayern play such a high line v PSG this CL Final could be a corker given the offensive strengths of both teams.

It certainly won’t be boring that’s for sure.

To be fair Ed that’s crazy he went to Wolfsburg for a year then Bayern and was loaned straight out for a year so it still took a good while

Plenty of examples like lukaku, KDB, and the Egyptian wizard all ar Chelsea….

I still do not think Messi will come to Manchester City and for the kind of money likely to be on offer we could get two class players and not have to change formation too much. They say Messi will not defend…I have seen him defending but his worth is in the last third of the pitch and I expect others to defend
