Week 2 and a nice away day to the arse end of nowhere for us Spuds, at least it’s on the box over here, which is good… not feeling brilliantly optimistic, we beat them 5-1 over two legs las season in the Angie Swansong, but I think they’ll be more “up for it” than Buffy on his payday… and let’s be honest, Buffy has more chance of scoring than we do, firing more blanks than Boyce!!
Suspect this will be a very narrow win for Middle Earth, 2-1 perhaps.

Hmmm… not the strongest 11 to start and a fairly week bench… it almost looks like Frank is “under-estimating” the Hobbits… I sincerly hope that doesn’t come back to bite us in the arse… there are a lot more stiffer tests to come over the remaining 6 games after this one… not looking forward to this one at all.

Not sure how we got a point, certainly didn’t deserve it… 3 draws in a row, all from losing positions, not sure to be “proud” of the fighting spirit, or disappointted we’re giving up the lead in the first place…
Again, front 3 were invisible, midfield was running around like headless chickens and Vicky in goal is looking as wobbly was Granny’s trifle…

Surprised it’s still 0-0 in Monaco, hardly a classic but both teams have had some decent chances, poor finishing being the order of the day here… Spuds have played better this season, but also played a hell of a lot worse too!

Doing our best Boyce impression and firing blanks… hopefully things will get better when Big Bad Dom and the Ginger Ninja are up and running… certainly couldn’t be much worse.
