Said on another topic but he has to make changes. Drop Bruno, Cunha and Mbuemo bring in Sesko up top with Lacey off the right. Play Mainoo or Tielemans higher up and bring Santos in to midfield. Put Yoro with Martinez or Heaven with Maguire and play Mazraoui at right back. Swap Dorgu for the kit man at left back if Shaw is still injured. Not expecting it to change much in terms of performance but Carrick cant just keep plodding along with the same bluffers claiming there were loads of good things in games that we are stinking out.

The problem for Carrick is he’s damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t!
If he makes wholesale changes and we lose he’ll get criticism, alternatively he keeps the same side and again he’ll get criticism.
The team he puts out on Wednesday night will tell me if he has the ability to turn our performances around.
He has some big calls to make. Personally I think he will play

Mainoo or Teileman
Santos
Mount

Sesko
Mbeumo (unless) Amad is fit

Dorgu will play on the left.

This is the game where he needs to bench either Cunha or Fernandes even both.
If he starts Cunha in the false 9 and Fernandes. He won’t see Christmas as Manchester United Manager.
