Some really good points there threeps. We look fecked after 60 mins. We keep conceding last min goals. Is that due to fatigue as training is slow or because players are being over played

These players dont look there was a plan for them?individually on paper writz, eitike isak should be better but how do you fit sll 3 in the team?Is writz better then szobo as a ten? Its just piss poor planning. I love watching writz that one touch passing, movement etc but i expected so much more consideingy fee and all the hype. Hes far to casual. So many times in good positions but makes the wring choice. Under hitting pssses. Just to nonchalant at times but he doesnt deserve to be fully judged for a whike.
Why did we buy writz when there is no plan for him? Hes played about 4 different positions ,why did we buy two centre forwards , maddness chisa and rio are backup, gakpo needs to go aswell.

Sean, I think one of the issues is the fitness training. Our style shouldn’t result in players knackered after 60 mins, if anything the style if played right should knacker the opposition but its too slow so they don’t need to chase.
Regarding Wirtz and any other player, I would advice to reserve judgement until we get either another coach or Slot changes the style. No one can be judged constructively in this set up.

Feel sick to the stomach. After Dom equalized, I felt happier. It the last minute sucker punch. I mean what was Curtis Jones even doing? Ball watching.
A draw and a point would have been ok.
Gonna need a miracle today to keep us in 4th place, needing favours from Palace, Villa, and Arsenal.

That’s yet another Saturday night of mine ruined by these incompetent players.
If these Liverpool players truly understood how much disappointment they cause the fans, they’d truly get their act together, especially considering the exorbitant amounts of money they’re paid.
If you can’t win the game, then at least hold on for a fckin draw. How hard is that to do? Just kill the game, or hoof the ball up the field.
Time for the players to call a meeting amongst themselves to sort out these devastating last minute collapses, once and for all. Highly embarrassing and MUST NOT be repeated again.
Slot, on his own, cannot be blamed for stupid individual errors, like Van Dijk not clearing an easy ball for the first goal, that is on the player himself.

Correct, Mikus, but only regarding Isak.
I warned repeatedly long before we signed him, against signing Isak, a highly-injury prone, ludicrously overpriced player. That £125m could have been far better spent on two top, robust players, a winger and a CB, who would have had a much greater impact on the team, not least of all, because they would be available most of the time.
Richard Hughes has a lot to answer for on this one.

Absolutely wrong, Semenyo is a game-changer, as I said several times before, and the as you can already see at City, he would have made a HUGE difference to Liverpool, playing on the left, with his goals, assists and taking several players out of the equation.
Just like Luis Díaz, the best left-winger in the league did last season.
Even Guehi pops up with his fare share of goals, more than most defenders.

Songman 100% with you re the subject of our Directors; makes me wonder one of the reasons for Jurgen’s resignation. Ok so we might not be aware of the full facts of the background, but how all of a sudden was we allowed 120 x 2 lots of players ? Wirtz in my eyes didn’t appear to be a finished article and Isak came with a injury history. British Transfer Records Broken, yet we find ourselves in this position.
I don’t think Slot can carry the whole can of blame. This part of the ‘Business’ Model or club structure hierarchy needs to be evaluated in my view.

I can’t remember right now, the person on here making this point, but it’s valid re the potential loss of revenue in not qualifying for the CL. I can’t see us winning it at this point of time. The FA Cup wouldn’t be enough to keep somebody in a job.
It’d have to be a freakish of bad results from others and like our stroke of luck from the Covid Season 2021 where it was a last gasp jump to 4th at the expense of Chelsea.
Too many points dropped and now there’s quite a gap between as an City-Arsenal-Villa.

I reckon Gerrard would come in at a moments notice and honestly I would rather see Stevie than Slot out the season. I have never seen a head coach make so many bad decisions, he costs us points again and again.
I´m still furious actually, the indecision making of not subbing off Gomez and waiting for 7 minutes while we are a man down pisses me off, it´s so stupid.
The only reason we are so high in the league is because the rest of the league is shit, 1.57 points on average. We concede 1.4 goals in every single game on average, with us scoring 1.52 goals on average. We have 3 goals as our goal difference this season after 23 games.
I wanna emphasize on the decision making because Slot makes the wrong sub almost every time, it´s almost guaranteed that we will lose our shape in the last 30 minutes at least. If he has to sub a player before that we will lose our shape earlier in the game.
Like when Gomez gets injured, Slot has plenty of options actually, he could have subbed Robbo on the minute Gomez got injured, Jones was another option if Gravy would have moved into the defense but the manager chooses Endo who in all fairness did nothing wrong but he also did nothing right either.
Next sub had no impact either, the only thing that happened was that we lost our shape and had no idea what to do until the introduction of Rio who did more in 5 minutes than Gakpo the whole match.
Then the idiot is blaming the weather.

Looks ok so far for us from what is happening elsewhere. Now that would be one hell of a Silver Lining.
Bingo, I know! Only 3 measly Goals of Goal Difference to show for. It is actually a point on the subject of the quality of the League in regards to this season in particular.
United draw would leapfrog them to 4th and that’s because of their goal difference, so we need an Arsenal win at the Emirates later this afternoon.
Any draws out of the Chelsea and Newcastle fixtures, and we’ll still be fine. Could really have done with a draw ourselves y’day and if anything, a WIN!!!
