I predict we wont sack Slot unless a major downtown in results that leave next years CL very doubtful. Currently we are not in that situation, even if we are playing shite. Replacing him now does not guarantee an instant turn around, especially as a fitness is a major issue with the squad, and in fact it could have a negative impact.
I think he will get the bullet soon after the last game giving the new coach as much time as possible before the start of the season. With the WC I would prefer him to come in before the season end to at least see the players in training and form some opinions on them but dont think that will happen.

I think if there’s any way we can bring in Alonso we should do it as soon as possible before someone else wraps him up. If he is unavailable or doesn’t want to come then stick with Sloth until seasons end. But Slots tactics are not getting the best out of this group and now they are lacking belief and confidence and the football is just down right boring to watch, must be equally as bad to play it.

Sean, Mo was creating until we lost our shape actually, until Gomez went off he was delivering. We were delivering the ball into his area and he was creating with Wirtz.
The indecision of not subbing Gomez off cost us the game, we can also argue that subbing Endo on instead of Jones cost us the game. I would have moved Gravy into the defense with Van Dijk, they got a greater understanding and can both pass the ball out of defense.
My 2nd decision would have been subbing off Gakpo who only put one forward pass throughout the entire game, the only other thing he did was run into space and be denied when he went on his right foot.
It´s Slot´s fault, he lost us this game, I can imagine how Anfield will revolt in a home game against a bigger opponent than our next champions league game, that game is keeping Slot safe, nothing else. If we fail to dominate against Quarabag I can honestly see him gone, a draw will be enough to get rid of him at this point.
Cause it´s not just the intensity of the game, it´s also just general decision making!

Well that all went to shit quickly. I thought we started off well and were doing fine. To concede 2 goals in quick succession is absolute stupidity from the team.. we are not prime barca 2012 that we can play with 10 men, they showed slot instructing Allison to kick the ball out to make the substitution, i think he didnt see it!
We left ourselves with a mountain to climb, once frimpong was taken off we lost that guile on the right side and salah was non-existent after that. Didnt mind curtis coming on for mac and rio for gakpo, but taking of frimpong was ridiculous to me! Wirtz is started to really worry me to, he reminds me of a poor mans mesut ozil/smicer that last pass to mo salah was inexcusable, you cant get that pass “THAT” wrong with his talent.. most of his decision making in general was poor!
We tried to win the game once we levelled, but once grav gave that throw in, you knew what was coming. I know alot of fans really disliked Nunez, but go back to last season and see how many headers he won from set pieces… thats the margins sometimes in games.
Van dijk had one of those games, i understand the frustration but he did well from 2-0 onwards, won so many headers and clearances, Considering the conditions wernt the best.
Also what is it with our team, the moment we get the ball to our player in the box we get a nose bleed. The amount of times we got the ball to a player in the box and the first touch or decision making was brutal… i lost count.
Positives: got to see endo and ngumoha, we scored from 2 set pieces, szobo had a great game.

Until Slot lost the game for us he was fine, running into space, creating chances… Have another look at the game until Van Dijk fucked up and then Slot fucked up more, after that he was like you said doing nothing at all but we lost our shape twice because of Slot after conceding. Nobody has faith in this manager any longer…

Oh yeah, surprise surprise we have defensive issues again… connor out, konates bereavement, gomez now injured… i had an argument with someone on here about the need for 2-3 players in the January window… defence and left wing were the 2 areas I believe we can improve on, i would have bet my house on it that we were gonna sign two more players this window… now ive got egg on my face. Weve still got a lot to play for… the board has to do something asap, 1 week before the window shuts.

We guys have stuck together as Posters through thick and thin for years. Why isn’t there somebody actually in charge at the club in longevity? E.g. Through both Rodgers and Klopp, there are plenty of highs but ‘Blueprints’ we can PIN, to pass on.
Mind blogging how from losing a small handful of key players how much of an effect this has on any first 11.
We’re a slightly different proposition in Europe as Results have otherwise Reflected, but bread n butter league sitting 4th, we play a Relegation outfit accepting our fate.

Most bizarre season ever, from winning games late on like true champions to giving away about 5/6 last minute goals. From loving watching is play to being so frustrated most of the time now watching us,
We were screaming for vvd and mo to sign new contracts and they have both been disappointing. Ive never seen lfc fans turn on in a managrr like this since hodgson and no one wanted hodgson in the first place. This manager won us the league but the view on him is very split,
Everyone calling hughes a genius when all he did was replace players and left us short. Buying players without a plan, did we need writz?? Szobo did a better job then him. We spent the money in the wrong areas, slit want to create more now we hardly create anything and its dire to watch.
Dont get me wrong you can see writz quality but hes far to casual. Hes over all been a disappointment. Hope he goes on to be a real player for us.

Can’t see how the club will trust the transfer committee/slot with any more funds.
I know that Jota sadly passed away and of course has had an impact. Trent leaving and Diaz sold. Everyone wanted Nunez gone.
But how the hell have we become so bad, despite signing individually brilliant players?
We have signed the wrong players for the system we and the players were used to. So slot cannot work with these players. Even if slot had no say in the signings, he is still the coach and sets the team up. We’re now at the point where it’s better he leaves sooner rather than later.
Salah, vvd and Robbo collectively have declined badly and has amplified the mess we are in now.

Sean I can´t actually believe it will happen, I think the rest of the players would revolt actually against Slot and Gakpo.
We had 5-6 players viable for the armband last season, all of sudden it´s one or two.
The one thing that pisses me off this season is that the players think this is excusable, Van Dijk has been shit this season, this is the worst captains performance for many years.
We are getting rid of our vice captain, who has barely featured this season, the only voice out there has been Van Dijk´s and our head coach.
Who until now has expressed that calmness is his greatest feature, this is the first game I´ve seen him agitated on the sideline. Trying to influence a game, it actually convinced me that he never had anything to do with our approach last season.
Every substitution he makes, makes us lose our shape, it´s a 50/50 gamble between Szoboszlai going into the rightback or some other fuck up.
I can´t name one game in the last 7-8 months that Slot has actually won and when I think about it I don´t think he won us a game before that.
