I flipped on the Tv yesterday to see an old fa cup match Southampton v Man Utd. Only watched it for about 10 mins. The centre defence was Baily and Rojo two players that Iβd forgotten about.
This got me thinking about all the players weβve signed since we won the premier league.
My question is, from all those players could we pick 11 that could win a title?_____________________________

18th September 2026 at 9:57 pm #257410You’d have far more fun asking people to name their worst 11 mate. We’d all be spoilt for fucking choice!!ππ

19th September 2026 at 8:37 pm #257484Yeah Man, you got it π I liked all those you’ve mentioned.
I remember Robbo being around a little bit in the early 90s before he had to Retire.
As a Football Fan even though of course United was my Rival Club and a Nearest Threat to us, the period of the very early 90s was Interesting π

19th September 2026 at 9:52 pm #257487jump imagine the player Bruno would be if Keane was barking out orders at him every time he feigned injury or rolled on the floor.
My order of best midfielders in the league goes Keane, Gerrard and Vieira. We might have Toure there as well, I canΒ΄t really name Lampard as one of them and the same goes for Scholes.
Those three were vicious on the field, they took no bullshit from anyone and made their team better. I canΒ΄t really say the same about the modern midfielder.
I reckon most of the midfielders right now at Liverpool are overrated except Macca. He got that mentality of those former players, he only cares about the 3 points.
We got Szobo right now trying to copy Gerrard but have we ever seen Szobo dive in for a tackle? We got Bruno trying to copy Keane FFS, and Γdegaard trying to be Vieira.
I just miss those tackles, thatΒ΄s all… I miss those red cards as well when everyone lost their cool as the fixtures mattered.
The last good red card I saw was Jones vs Everton.
