And with regards to Maureen, not even suggesting for one minute he couldn’t improve Spuds or the Goonies, I just do not like the man and would have serious problems “cheering” for him… and of course, the inevitable implosion about 30 months down the road…

Eddie Howe for me has got too comfortable at Bournemouth. He’s been there 7 years now and he’s clearly taken them as far as they can go. If he was ambitious for a bigger job, why hasn’t he left (even if he had to go abroad)? Ambitious managers don’t hang around waiting for the call, they move out themselves and prove their quality somewhere else and make a name for themselves. David Moyes is a classic example of where “waiting years for the call” gets you.

Amz, very good point but to be fair the majority of Goonies are aware they’ve been stuffed up with the Kroenke’s as confirmed every week on Arsenal TV.
By the way what I don’t understand is how Arsenal TV isn’t up for some sort of an Award it really is comedy gold.
