Why would Rashford play for the club when about 85% of the fans hate him, I don´t think he actually has the same mentality as Sancho or what´s his name at Aston Villa right now.
He just needs love, giving him that high contract is not his fault, everyone on this forum would have taken that contract.
But being one of the most productive individuals in a team, you can understand him when a new managers come in and goes for other players.
There is nothing wrong with Rashford as a player, he just needs to be motivated in the right way, the contracts do not matter.
He never bargained those contracts and the hate comes from him being a high salary player, hate on everyone else in the club at management, give him a season where you back him and he will be back to scoring 20 goals and supplying another 20 assists a season.
He is probably the most mismanaged player since Pogba. Pogba was taken out of training to do commercial videos for the club, imagine how fuck that is for a professional. His image was more important for the club than training.
Thankfully I am not as stupid as Souness when it comes to Pogba, I can actually recognize his talent, especially that world cup he won and he won it. He was probably the best French player that tournament, that last game, he did not lose the ball once, he had a perfect record that game.
It is one of the best finals I´ve ever seen. Every ball was fought for, every player caught the ball with their hands after each foul, every player did the same when going out of bounds. They did not give up possession until the ref forced them to.
Your club ruined him, he was the best midfielder in the world and you ruined him. You ruined him by forcing him to do image rights instead of training, he got picked out of training to go in front of the camera again and again and then you had club legends slate him for doing his job.
I think Souness hates him because he sees one of the best midfield talents ever gone to waste!
There is too much hate around your club to be successful, you got every last player from the last 20 years hating on every new generation and comparing them to themselves.

In 10years at Man Utd Rashford hit 20+goals only 3times and his career high in 10years was 13assists and happened just once that he crossed the 10assist margin while being one of the highest paid players in the league. He just needs love? Wtf !!! Does this look like an episode of some thelma and Zelda show. Pogba had talent but was also a lazy athlete who couldn’t apply his talent appropriately.
These players are paid handsomely to deliver on the pitch and when they fail to that do they ought to be held accountable just like every other employee would be held accountable for below-par performances at their various jobs.
While you are at it also blame the club for Sancho, Garnacho, Antony, Van de Beek etc

Your argument about Pogba would hold up if hadn’t gone back to Juve and stank the place out as well. When he got back there with ‘love’ and a professional approach he should have reached the heights you spoke of again. Fact is, he had an attitude problem and if you watched his first stint at Juve it was there too. I remember watching him in a Champions League knockout for Juve, he got dispossessed and instead of getting up and fighting for the ball he sat on his arse, threw his hands up and gave out to his team’s mates for a poor pass. We were linked with him at the time and this was a major red flag for me. His attitude was shit before he ever signed for us, that’s partially down to his agent too but the signs were there.

Ornstein is reporting we still have business left to do with at least 2 more signings happening. I do think pre season performances of Yoro, Mount and Lacey have given them food for thought. And obviously the Rashford situation scuppers the opportunity to get a winger or back up striker for Sesko.
