I am sure Newcastle have breached the European sustainability spending rules and had to sell players to balance the books for uefa.
They sold isak for big money but spent nearly double that on crap. Their issue is they don’t have the income to match the spending. And now it has caught up with them.

There is a two window transfer ban which was delayed until after the bloody transfer window ended so they are just buying twice as many players to last them two summers. Though no doubt they will appeal (a decision they actually negotiated and accepted) and that will be reduced to the winter window.

Not sure there’s much the club can do when these prima donnas decide they want a bigger club. They did everything to keep hold of Isak until the scousers offered ridiculous money. I think are business is done. No idea what is going on but the fact there are no movements in the market speaks volumes. Don’t buy we are waiting for the Rodri to Madrid deal to get done before becoming active. What would that have to do with us bringing in a left back or moving Zirkzee on and getting another forward?

Alfie, both Aston Villa and Newcastle have had a horrid summer, I can´t really see them replicating their last season or the one before that. Spurs on the other hand have spent heavily and could be back in the top 6-8. I do not think anyone has a better squad than the previous season basically, City and Liverpool lost players. Arsenal have not really done anything yet. There might be a few big signings but they are replacements for other key players. The last few weeks of the window might actually be entertaining this season.

I said that the other day N1xer, that i think we’re done in the transfer market. 1 more maybe. But they’re obviously repositioning Mount as a CM. I mean they absolutely should be saying to him this is his last chance, stay fit and actually fuckin earn your wages or next summer you’re gone. Also repositioned Yoro to right back in pre-season so that will allow Mazraoui to cover Shaw on the left.
