Howe is leaving because Newcastle are selling all their best players out from under him, not because they’re skint

2nd August 2026 at 7:45 pm #252006Newcastle needed a reset and even though Howe did not like it that was what needed to happen. We should stay clear of Camavinga even Tchouameni is a βmaybeβ.

2nd August 2026 at 7:58 pm #252008I am sure Newcastle have breached the European sustainability spending rules and had to sell players to balance the books for uefa.
They sold isak for big money but spent nearly double that on crap. Their issue is they donβt have the income to match the spending. And now it has caught up with them.

3rd August 2026 at 6:53 am #252044Chelsea are astonishing. Premier league and the FA are so weak.
If you had offered Abramovich the chance to cheat as much as he wanted but the offset would be a Β£10m fine then heβd have bitten your hand off.
They seem to be doing the same now.
There is a two window transfer ban which was delayed until after the bloody transfer window ended so they are just buying twice as many players to last them two summers. Though no doubt they will appeal (a decision they actually negotiated and accepted) and that will be reduced to the winter window.

3rd August 2026 at 7:41 am #252048Not sure thereβs much the club can do when these prima donnas decide they want a bigger club. They did everything to keep hold of Isak until the scousers offered ridiculous money. All these cunts do these days is throw their toys out of the pram and they eventually get their move, especially when silly money is involved. And I mean, whoβd want to live up there in the North East anyway?

3rd August 2026 at 8:40 pm #252101Teun Koopmeiners apparently going for around β¬30m, hasn’t done great at Juve but was excellent at Atalanta. Would not be a bad shout if true.

3rd August 2026 at 9:49 pm #252104I think are business is done. No idea what is going on but the fact there are no movements in the market speaks volumes. Don’t buy we are waiting for the Rodri to Madrid deal to get done before becoming active. What would that have to do with us bringing in a left back or moving Zirkzee on and getting another forward?

3rd August 2026 at 10:17 pm #252105Alfie, both Aston Villa and Newcastle have had a horrid summer, I canΒ΄t really see them replicating their last season or the one before that. Spurs on the other hand have spent heavily and could be back in the top 6-8. I do not think anyone has a better squad than the previous season basically, City and Liverpool lost players. Arsenal have not really done anything yet. There might be a few big signings but they are replacements for other key players. The last few weeks of the window might actually be entertaining this season.

4th August 2026 at 12:36 am #252107Well everyone said the same thing about Villa last season and look how their season went. They have signed to replaced players they lost so i reckon Villa will be alright.
We have to worry about our club; we still have fucking Altay Bayindirπ€£π€£

4th August 2026 at 9:56 am #252120I said that the other day N1xer, that i think we’re done in the transfer market. 1 more maybe. But they’re obviously repositioning Mount as a CM. I mean they absolutely should be saying to him this is his last chance, stay fit and actually fuckin earn your wages or next summer you’re gone. Also repositioned Yoro to right back in pre-season so that will allow Mazraoui to cover Shaw on the left.
Shea Lacey saves us a few bob on a winger too.
Maybe that’s the thinking and then they go big next summer…_____________________________

4th August 2026 at 10:40 am #252124@happy – Please enlighten us all as to how we can get rid of 200k per week Mount next summer if as expected he’s a sick note again this season?
@SteveJ – There may well be interest from Turkey, but there’s zero chance that Rashford will go there whilst he’s still sat on a contract worth over 30 million quid, simple as that._____________________________

4th August 2026 at 11:23 am #252131@happy – Firstly, who is going to want to loan a player who will have by then had 4 injury ravaged seasons?
Then, who would want to agree an option to buy that player when his contract would by the end of the loan expired anyway?
Not thought this through very well have you?!πππ_____________________________

4th August 2026 at 11:52 am #252132I do think these cunts are looking at Mount as the third midfielder option though. It just gets more and more depressing as the window drags on, especially with Sesko still out and that fat cunt Mbeumo continuing to look like an egg n legs.

4th August 2026 at 12:40 pm #252135@happy – Yeah course, why wouldn’t Everton take Mount on a loan and pay the majority of his 200k per week wages when he only turns up for work about 10 times per year?
It makes ‘perfect sense’ to nobody but you!πππ_____________________________
