Bit early, still lots of work to be done by most clubs with regards to transfers, but this year is even harder to call than usual…

Still fancy the Goonies to finish top of the pile, considering they haven’t lost anybody of note and are rumoured to still be getting a couple of top draw players… I think that level of continuation will see them over the line in first place…

As for second onwards, bloody hell….

115, Chelski, YooUtd and Pool would probably round out the top 5 but all 4 clubs have new managers, could go either way depending on how quick they can get up and running… I think only Chelski are likely to finish with more points than last season

Villa would have been in there but I think losing the players they have, loses them a few points from what they got last year…

Then you have the likes of Sunderland, Brighton, Bournemouth & Palace who are likely to struggle in the Prem while juggling Europe until January at least… all going to finish with less points than last season.

Then you have the Bone-Saw-Boys and the Mighty Spuds, new managers, one of whom has never managed a game in the Prem, but what can be considered an advantage with no Euro football to worry about…

But then again, Spuds have been flashing the cash, expecting a another couple of “top-draw” players in attacking roles and have looked good so far in pre-season… fancy us to be somewhat darkhorses and would be very disappointed if we don’t finish in a Euro Spot come May…

Can’t see any of three promoted sides staying up… and another season with Forest looking over their shoulders and being grateful Bone-Saw-Boys will be even worse…

As for the Cups… all about the draws…

      1) Goonies
      2) 115
      3) Chelski
      4) Spuds
      5) Pool
      6) YooUtd
      7) Villa
      8) Everton
      —–
      18) Coventry
      19) Ipswich
      20) Hull

Very open League. Hope the entertainment value is better than last season.

Would wager Arsenal to retain the Title. Only Man City can pip them.

3rd Place, I’d predict out of Chelsea, United and Villa.

Liverpool I would say right now 6 or 7th; and can’t see us securing CL the way we are unless we start signing players very soon.
