Ginger, pound for pound… you know it and so does everyone, wirtz has been brutal on the ball… and theres no defending it with “no disciplined midfielders behind him, he’s acclimatising to the league, weather, physicality, etc” the excuses have to stop because he was bought as a future ballon d’or winner or major contender at the very least… hes nowhere near that level.
I like his work rate and as long as we are winning games, theres no issues.. the moment we lose, fuckers like carragher will jump on that bandwagon, use him as a scapegoat… if legends like salah wernt spared, who the hell is wirtz!
