Nil, dont think there can be a daft question with this to be honest, it’s a right box of frogs. Whilst I dont know if regular audits were carried out, we all know City were charged 4 of the 5 accusations of non-cooperation. If there’s a connection, who knows?
For me the question is did the IC do the neccessary job with regards to the paper trail and will the appeal judges come to the same or a different conclusion. It matters not one bit what they said in 2015, that will have no bearing in a court of law.
