I’m no legal eagle, but in the UK you can only sue for damages if you can prove the damages in the first place. So unless Etihad can show some financial harm, after only a few days, then it’s a very weak threat.
No doubt the law is different elsewhere but even Etihad are saying they weren’t named in the papers.
