Not sure the PL ever said the opposite, their whole case is that City fabricated deals, not the sponsors. They said the sponsors paid the amount in the real contract and ADUG paid the inflated bit in the sham contract.
Notice how Etihad don’t actually say they paid the amounts City claimed they paid.
Sean, we will have to wait and see on Serano, but he has completely misrepresented the CAS case, so I wouldn’t be that hopeful if I were a City fan. And even if they uphold his claim then the contracts aren’t at fair market value and they fail the rules on that.
115 charges, 114 guilty verdicts. PL just need one to stick.
