It’s because there’s a tendency or effectively an anticipation (waiting for it to happen) in an event of an International Break, there in lies an assault to one of our players.
I think what we have to look at which opens up a critical debate is the players over a number of years invested into that are cut and dry injury prone.
I know it’s unfortunate, but when you look at it statistically, they are likely than unlikely, repeatedly. It’s not just one, but a cluster; Thiago, Joel Matip, Naby Keita, Isak, Gomez.
We then have had somebody who plays through injury or willing to like James Milner for example. So that’s another conversation.
